I am pulling for Williams to be great but last year he was not great. He certainly has the ability. Perhaps it wasn't injury, but I hate to see what I saw last year and this year certainly is a huge improvement

James Williams is a ticking time-bomb. He can't be trusted. He makes boneheaded plays every game. He is one of the worst tacklers I ever seen to be such a physically gifted athlete. I pray to God that he leaves this year for the NFL. He will have a short NFL career.

Anyone would be proud to have their son as a D1 five star. As canes fans we are desperate for success and when our top guys don't perform it hurts more.
Lack of performance could be blamed on injury coaching, but at the end of the day when you see a guy not bend down to wrap up, it's frustrating to watch. Just used to a guy like Sean Taylor killing it

@Caneville if he was my son, he would understand humility. He would understand that there are flaws in his game that he needs to fix. He would understand that you don't celebrate a tackle 15 yards down the field. If he was my son, he would understand that you don't continue to rack up 15-yard penalties.

Ill put my hand up. I never questioned his ability. He was not playing like a 5 star. Im calling man out when they play bad, and ima give them credit when they play well. Very simple.

@@Caneville yes i put alot of it on coaching. But it was not only his play on the field. He was hitting people out of bounds and drawing stupid penalties. I never said he sucked. It was those things in addition to not wrapping up i was criticizing. Then we found out he had a hurt shoulder. We see what we see. If we are supposed to praise bad play and behaviour am in the wrong area
