- We thought we would try out a "Podcast" style video, trying to answer some questions about the Disaster Prevention Kits in general, and our kit in particular. We gathered a few questions and topics for discussion to cover in this video.

Love the SPE after market parts. Did have an issue with the SPE Disaster kit, the allen bolt fell out of the screen/filter attachment that clamps it to the stock fuel return line. Decided to add the S&S filter to the SPE kit for peace of mind. SPE kit is a much cleaner install IMHO but do like the filter to limit debris in the fuel tank down to 2 microns.

I appreciate this kind of feedback on your products. It definitely helps me understand the products. I'm not a mechanic so the more info I can get, the better the chance I will purchase parts.

My only problem with the install. Was with the molded line that came with the kit that attach to the filter to the x o filter. It seems to be a little long. What it does is cocked the stock filter causing a bind. This make removing the stock upper filter a pain to remove. Not sure if the first kits the lines were made a little longer or not. But if that happens is the line advalibe to but. That is my only complaint is.
My 2015 has 150,000 miles on it. Should I go ahead and change the pump when I put my kit on? Is there a mileage that these pumps are good for? 200k? 300k? etc
Do any seals, gaskets or o-rings need to be replaced on this install due to the amount of parts needed to be pulled off on to gain access to the CP4 on the 6.7?
Not usually unless you find one that had been leaking or you mess one up.
I am a visual guy. Show us proof it works. Real life customer experience or a test video. I have not seen any actual accounts of this working.
