Miranda, you would be such a wonderful narrator of Jane Austen audio books! You hit all the beats and your timing is spot on. I must admit I feel a twinge of sadness to realize this is the last tea reads of the year. I've come to anticipate and enjoy them so much. I'm grateful to you and your mum for the care and effort you put into them. I'm so glad you'll be continuing them into 2021. The chocolate and peppermint combo has long been a favorite of mine. I laughed so much, great tea reads. Surprisingly I used to love eating 90 % dark chocolate but I don’t anymore. I always wonder how I managed to love it so much 🤣. Enjoyed every bit of this. Hello Donna and Miranda, such a moving episode with poems and readings that really touch the heart. We would have been in Hornsea with our daughter and her fiancé and our son but, sadly, we will be celebrating here by ourselves just to keep everyone safe. It deepens the meaning, I think, of the importance of usually being able to meet with loved ones at this special time but there will be great celebration when we are able to get together. And thank goodness we have your lovely videos to cheer us along, thank you both so much, Teresa ❤️🌲❤️

Hello Miranda and Donna I enjoyed the Tea Reads TREMENDOUSLY 🥰🥰🥰.... the excerpt from “Emma” was hilarious... because it’s so relatable, I can’t count the times I have left my comfortable home just to be uncomfortable in someone else’s home, I’ve never read Emma by Jane Austen, but the beauty of “An English Christmas” anthology is that it’s giving me a little preview into books I would like to read.... an Ending with Maya Angelou was beyond Beautiful 🥰... The cookies looked delicious! I love anything peppermint or candy cane - YUM! Such sweet Christmas excerpts, too! I'll have to see if I can find the Christmas Reader book - it sounds perfect. I love your crackling fire and sparkly lights. Which type of tea were you drinking, if you don't mind me asking? I was sipping on my lemon balm tea while watching, but then wished it was peppermint while you were making cookies - lol! As always, you and your mom looked so pretty! The biscuits looked delicious, with all that peppermint I’m sure it’d be OK to over indulge cos they’ll clean your teeth at the same time, excellent 🤣.

I want to bake this peppermint cookies! I love dark chocolate. I usually go for a Knoops hot chocolate that is either 85% or 96%, with a touch of cinnamon. It’s so rich.
