- "Blue's Clues and You" is a 2019 reboot of the 1996 children's show "Blue's Clues". Over my break from school, I took some time to watch it and now I've come to share my thoughts with you.

As someone like me who grew up with the original Blue's Clues, I honestly wasn't expecting a reboot when hearing about the news of it in early March of 2018. As a fan of both the original & the new show I actually do adore both. Growing up I've always adored Steve Burns, Donovan Patton, & of course became a fan of Joshua Dela Cruz since 2019. Now "Blue's Clues & You!" may not be 100% same to the original, but it does involve the original creators, & I personally think they truly care about this reboot even with some changes here & there. We've been getting remakes throughout 2019 & 2020 as you stated, but original episodes out to happen for sure within the second or third season of the show.
Good job on this review btw.
Both good eveybody can like even the order kidd
@@animalsandlegos4525 the new version sucks
@@animalsandlegos4525 modern reboots are for idiots
I was pretty shocked when I first heard they were rebooting Blue's Clues, especially since I too grew up with the show (mainly with Steve's episodes). My family couldn't stand it because of its repetitiveness and having to hear me watching it again and again to the point where they were driven insane by it, but it really helped shape me into the man I am today. As for my thoughts on the reboot, I love it, Josh was perfect for being the new host, the subtle and minor changes are neat, the nods to the original series work, and the animation and backgrounds look beautiful. Though I too wasn't a fan of how they kept redoing all the old episodes again with either no changes or small changes that didn't make any sense, like with Snack Time how we had to identify the shapes of an orange, a slice of cheese, a graham cracker, and a bunch of grapes then put them all away in the reboot they only put the grapes away. I also felt they made the episode Blue's Sad Day worse by switching out the green puppy who knocked Blue's block tower down with Magenta, I consider it to be the weakest episode in the original series and in the reboot it was worse because the episode is supposed to say we need to express our emotions and tell people how we feel only for Blue to be ignored by Magenta and the green puppy despite her telling them she doesn't want her blocks to get knocked down. But despite my gripes I love the reboot of the show and it helped me get in touch with my inner fanboy of the original series that I was when I was growing up. Steve was one of my biggest idols, and being that I happen to do cosplay, I'll be cosplaying as him in the future and I'm considering making my own fan made Blue's Clues episodes or clips.
I absolutely enjoyed watching your review on this show! I know I'm commenting on your video after a year of you uploading this, but it seems to me that we have very similar feelings about it. I personally don't mind that they've mainly done remakes of old episodes so far because I do enjoy thinking about the similarities and differences between the two versions and picking out parts in the Blue's Clues and You version that I think is a huge improvement from the original Blue's Clues episode. I get super excited for each new episode and I'm just thinking about how they're going to adapt this episode for Josh's era and for the current generation of preschoolers who are watching the show. Anyways, great video!
Blue has put her pawprint on actual clouds in the sky, over a whole house and a backyard, in water before it exits a faucet or hose, and literally inside an optometrist's vision tester. Never question anything Lmao
Well blue is a character from a story book and can go into paintings and books
Well im happy new generations are able to watch it,even if its recycled shows,it doesn't matter,as long as is staying true to the old show.
No more milking franchises dry
I guess the only free way to watch the first Blue's Clue's Series is on DVD!
Those DVDs Aren't Free & You Can Buy The Whole Thing on Amazon Prime
@@CosmicSponge2004 Well, I assume he already has them.
@@JosiahFickinger Who says he can't find both? Bonus features are still pretty cool.
WHat's weird about blue is that when she licks the screen, it doesn't touch the camera like it should. Mailbox lost his classical voice and the music change is so weird to listen too.
Who needs reboots?
@@mrnobody2018 I guess money and story makers.
There's should be a Did You Know Television episode on this show.
Declan Carey blues clues theme song high pitched
I Love Blue ,s clus
Me too
What color is Josh's hair?
Does any remember the puppet version of blue called blues room
Yes. More nightmarish than I remembered. XD
I didn’t like that they remade some episodes. Why remake episodes when the originals were already made and available to watch anyway?
Eh to be fair I kinda liked the host a bit better than Blue herself personally
I'm not giving it good reviews
I'm not watching fucking reboots
I hate future entertainment!!!!!
