The song it's so beautiful, it makes me cry everytime I hear it, I don't exactly know why, but it does, and Dan Castellaneta did an outstanding job singing as Homer It truly feels like Homer singing this to Marge, and the ending of this gag feels like he actually was singing this to her But the sad part is that the episode where this gag debuted was horrible, this is (for me) the best and only good thing to come out of that horrid episode
All of us wonder why this gets us sad, maybe because it's all about that homer has such great wife, that he loves her no matter what, and the viewers mustve had some bad day or something. It's just a theory

Christ Dan is good, he can somehow still do the Homer voice without sounding a day old, still love his job and the characters he plays, and sing like a freaking god l, he’s up there with the voice acting legends
