Without the laugh soundtrack and with the right music, it’s easy to see his story is really quite depressing and deep; there’s more to him than meets the eye. I’m glad he found someone in the end in Denise, though. And once again, you’ve displayed the depth of his story perfectly.

On a real note. I've been fired as a client from 3 therapists, one telling me she is now in special therapy to talk through her time being my therapist... That's when I figured that not only can someone be broken, but be a destroyer. Now I just ignore it all and have been pretty happy for about 5 years, but sometimes I fall apart, for just a moment.
The way they treated Stuart, not to mention the horrible stereotypes of the other characters is why I only half liked this show. I never finished it, but this video popped into my suggestions, no clue why.

you’re so talented, you managed to take the character usually portrayed as the forgotten one of the gang for comedy and bring to life how isolated and unhappy he actually was. stuart deserved so much better; your edits make me feel so many things

You needed the edits? I could see it as soon as he mentioned it. Both girls he tried to date ended up leaving him in a very traumatizing way for other guys he knew.
I’m glad someone realised how sad this guys story is. I love the Big Bang theory but I never liked how until the last season his loneliness and depression was always played off as a laugh and overlooked.

In all fairness Raj's has practically the same story of loneliness and didn't end up with anyone by the series end, unlike Stewart. Raj always ended up alone even though he dated numerous women.

Stuart was a nobody but soon, he didn't just become a successful comic book artist. He has a girlfriend, has a life and a purpose to live
Rips my heart to know that there are people like Stuart out there: good and kind people but lonely, people that just didn't get to meet the right ones to become friends with.
I see family as the only people I need to spend my life with.

Looking back at this show Stewart was one of my favorite. He played his part perfectly got us to care about him

Stuart’s had it rough throughout the show, but I’m glad he’s still had his good moments with the others and things started to work out better for him as the show went on. He got a girlfriend, owns a new comic shop, and hopefully now with Sheldon of all people acknowledging that they took Stuart for granted, they started to include him more.

Considering how much the other characters had been bullied and teased in the past they treated Stuart very badly by leaving out their social events,
Honestly all of them treated others bad like when they mocked penny’s ex bf. Like penny said for a group that used to be bullied by others they were actually jerks who looked down on others for not being smart like them.
I remember watching this show all throughout Middle high and high school, and I would get bullied, alot, once even by a nerd who decided to spit in my hair, but when I came home, I would watch this show, and Stuart was always my favorite. He was a misfit among the misfits, and that's why he was my favorite, he didn't belong anywhere, he wasn't liked among the others, he was a nobody. But to me, to me he was a somebody, someone who did matter, because he is alot like me; and everyday I would come home from school without any friends and I'd watch this show, and I would see Stewart, to me Stewart was my friend, the one person who I could really connect with. I was cast out, but so was he and thats was made him my friend, and I am damn glad he finally got the one thing he wanted in the end, the one thing that he deserved: Love. And I hope someday I can have the same happy ending that my friend Stuart had.

Everyone has friends, married, with kids, successful careers and someone to spend the tough days with and I relate to Stuart a lot because, we just have ourselves, with a lot of medications and sighs.

I came on CZcams lookin to watch compilations of stewart after drinking at the bar. I wanted to have a good time and laugh because stewart is one of my favorite characters. I come across this and feel so sad and teary eyed. 😢 i hope no one ever has to feel like stewart did.

I always thought that a good spinoff would be Stuart,Raj ,and Bert living as roommates,each going in and out of relationships,and finally finding love
He is a great character, in my opinion, and the actor is very good at his job. I know that some people might hate the way he was made fun of.
But in a way I think that there was a lot of effort put into writing him and even some love for the guy. He would have not lasted for the entire show, otherwise. Many others came and left.
Another interesting character for me is Bert.
