Fancy! I would also put a bit of thick grease between the metal on metal surfaces. I've got some creaking sounds that came from the chainring bolts in the past that were fixed that way.
If I get a 50t absolute black oval chainring on Amazon it says x2 It doesn’t just have the x1 which is what I need If I just use the same chainring bolts from my x1 setup now on the absolute black 50t oval chainring would it work ? So it’s basically I just wanna make sure if u know that just using the bigger chainring alone with certain sized chainring bolts would do the trick I already know about 110bcd and the bolts size need to be of size just worried if it’s x2 if I can just use it for 1
Hi. I got 50/34 absolute black after fitting them the space between them seems to tight as the chain catches the big ring shifters when in the small ring and small cog.... as if the bevel isn't enough on the big ring or the small ring needs a washer spacer. What's your thoughts.
Check your front derailleur is parallel to the rings, I noticed mine wasn’t and I had to alter the frame interface by using shims. It is tight but once it’s sorted they run like a dream. 👍
We’ll time will tell if they are crap or not, I know my mate Hambini has issues with them, but the rings work fine so I can’t comment on if they are crap right now. 👍
