Keith shot placement is the thing that makes hunting BEAUTIFUL!! No long walking tracking because I shot so bad. The animal doesn’t have stress, he’s just stretched out, with a quickness. I enjoy watching you use originally GIANT KILLERS from Crossman Technology to score pig animals. We used to shot at each other, but just the legs down when I was 7-8. Killing Bullfrogs, and Cottonmouths. These Air Rifles are much stronger but it’s Great to see that the effectiveness wasn’t forgotten and they have built a Rifle that competes with regular Ammo. i had a webley patriot in 25 cal i took a good few fox with it sold it for a career 707 in 22 cal hated having to carry a pump in my backpack to fill on them long treks only just found these vids excellent shooting makes me want to go back to airguns.
Holy cow, or should I say Holy pig, that was an amazing shot. Man, a good airgun placed on the hands of a skilled marksman such as yourself is just amazing. Wow.
I've been carrying guns and hunting since I was 10 years old, 58 now. I guess I've gotten softer over the years but where I never cared much for seeing animals suffer for any reason, I really don't care for it now days. I tend to get a little ill when I see people taking stupid careless shots with no empathy at all for the animals they're hunting. And just the opposite with sigh of relief and all due respect for the people that make their best effort for an efficient and respectful kill.

In response to the negative comment on the Hatsan. I have a 125 Sniper in .25. With a Centerpoint scope and JSBs it shot a dime size group at 25 yards right out of the box and will go through a one inch pressure treated board at 25 yards.
I have the Hatsan 135 QE Vortex in .25 cal. If you haven't, try the H&N Hornet pellets. Nothing can stand up to 29 FPE from this ballistic hollow point, out to 50 yards

I was leary about knocking one down with my .25 at first,but I understand bullet placement and vitals. So knowing those things and at 25 yds I got confident and took me a nice eating hog.

I like break barrels I have a Hatsan 30 and 25 but I never would have tried hunting pick with them. You shot placement was perfect.

I saw some videos with a .45 cal air rifle. That's something, because those air guns are pretty quiet.

What gamo air rifle would be best for bird hunting? And would you recommend the gamo 25 caliber over the 22 caliber for pig and varment hunting?
I have been watching your hunting for hours and you just leap over goals you set for yourself, high definition, perfect shots, always professional and ethical, you're a legend Keith! I'd love to go out hunting myself one day. Currently live in the west part of Texas where it is more desert, but maybe if somewhere in my life I move deeper into Texas I would love to go out there and experience it myself!
+Jeremy Contreras Where at in West Texas? There some places out there that have great mule deer hunting and typically there are lots of places out west to predator hunt.
@@HighRoadHunting I don't want to be that "protect animals" guy, i really like hunting, but man, that pig is about 2 months old, what pride do you take in killing a child? Hunting a small pig with a rifle and recording it as a goal is really weak behaviour, go hunt some predator, take ur gun and go for a week-long solo for a adult bear, earn some respect.

750fps with lead .25 caliber pellet. That's 26 foot-pounds for the Rocket .25 cal pellets.
Keith Warren so Keith is the pellet lead based pellet? And does it matter if you cleaned it up before cooking? LoL honestly that’s way less expensive than .22LR

I dropped a 3 pointer white tail deer with my brand new 1420 fps .177 Gamo whisper fusion mach 1 I was using gamo's PBA Raptor gold alloy pellets 25% more punch and man let me tell ya it has a kick to it like a 22 long rifle and sounds like one too I love my gamo break barrel air rifle Great video Mr Warren

"I've never hunted, don't own a gun" - before planning a hunt. I think you need firearm training and many hours at the target range. Hunters are responsible for insuring a humane kill and if you're not a good shot then you won't be able to do that. The animal will run off into the bush and slowly die.

Hello, NP caliber 22 using spring which would be the most potent for hunting
You should try dieseling your air rifle. Just get some Vicks vapor rub and load the rifle as you normally would, but then take a little Vicks and smear it into the cavity of the pellet skirt after it's seated in the barrel. You'll get about 40% more power and velocity because the menthol in the Vicks actually ignites under pressure just like diesel does. It will also be quite a bit louder so be prepared. I've only done this with my 177 and 22 caliber air rifles but I'd like to see how good it works with the larger caliber rifles.

WOW, a .25 cal opens the door to more hunting. All true airgun hunters know SHOT PLACEMENT is what counts with a .22 or better yet .25 cal. Thnx for the video, what's next, a turkey or 2?
We'd have to go somewhere it was legal to take a turkey with an air gun. Not legal in Texas.

actually it should be the general rule that you have to do a one shot kill, butt especially in airgun hunting
and I think that gamo did an excellent job there with this gun to create something that is powerful and accurate enough to be a valid hunting rifle even for bigger animals.
Needs to be legal in TX. Airgun is perfect for turkey. You hit, you get all the meat with no carnage. You miss, then turkey gets another chance.

Wow, that was an awesome demonstration of the .25 caliber pellet's power. I have seen another video where the .22 and .25 calibers were compared and the .25 killed so much more efficiently, so much quicker than the .22.
I don't know how you feel about it, but it just seems more humane and provides better kill and shot probability for the shooter and seems more humane in it's ability to kill quicker. You're very careful and responsible for your kills and an impressive shot. Great videos.
Just a side note, I have an old Benjamin in .20 caliber and while the pellets are available for it and other rifles, the Benjamin 392 in .20 is no longer being made, which is a shame because for a short pump it shoots great. I am planning to get a .22 to add to my collection, but I love the .20 caliber Benjamin.
