Seeing Optimus riding Grimlock waving a sword was one of the most epic things ever. Seriously, there are few things more awesome than riding a massive, metal, fire-breathing T-Rex into battle.
Tbh they kinda got too much screentime. The problem w/ TLK was lack of tension because autobots were hardwinning throughout the movie. One thing id change is having Grimlock lose to Megatron in a 1v1 but Megs would still have to back off from combined autobot forces. Its just kind of weird how Megatron cant even defeat the autobots when they dont even have Optimus
Cant destroy anywhere else in China bcuz it shows weakness or something. And then China wont let the film be shown there. They got a lot of crappy rules. Hong Kong is also destroyed in Godzilla vs Kong And Dr Strange albeit technically the dmg was reversed but it was destroyed at some point. The funny thing abt Dr Strange is that movie couldnt be viewed in China because of some other censorship

I can't believe they didn't have swoop the two headed two tailed creature isn't a dinobot it's a dragon called doublecross. It came after the dinobots and would not have been sealed away with them.
I think Swoop (I think they kept the flyer as the g1 name) is mass shifting during his transformation sequence as he seems larger as a robot than in dino mode
The problem about Michael Bay’s movies is spend long time in drama, the best part the movie just few minutes with a lot graffic effect and make so confused to people understand.
The reason why the dinobots get very little screen time is because whenever theyr on screen, the decepticons always get bodied. Gotta make it a faur fight somehow

As cool as this scene is, Prime would never threaten grimlock to justify protecting ppl. I can’t stand Bay verse Optimus, I’m glad Prime from the Prime cartoon exists, he’s arguably the best version we’ve gotten since G1.
Even though I absolutely HATE AOE and TLK, these two awful movies did get one thing right, the Dinobots. I wish the Dinobots were introduced in the one of the first three movies thou because movies 1-3 were when the Transformers movies were still in their prime(2007 and DOTM are especially my two favorite Transformers movies of all time).
Anyone notice that Strafes robot form is not proportionate to his dino form. I just noticed that. Edit: I just found out Strafe is apparently little over half the size of Grimlock and Scorn. Which the angels from the valley scene really don't do that justice. I still think Strafe's Dino form should be bigger. His dino form is so slim that its hard to believe that a robot with Strafe's build could turn into it unless he's mostly hollow inside.
Compared to Bumblebee and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Bayverse transformers just look like moving chunks of scrap metal formed into a somewhat humanoid form. Not only that, the Bayverse designs are basically a big ass middle finger to the original series, just look at Shockwave and Soundwave. And on top of that, the over sexualized female characters and excessive slow-mo shots and explosions. Basically Bayverse transformers are practically made to appeal to the horny teenagers and edge lords who probably have never watched the original transformers series.

If you’re going to make Grimlock that much taller and beefier then prime then draw out the fight and make it competitive like it would’ve been in the cartoon and comics.
