I've just recently started watching turkish movies.forget Hollywood, Hollywood.it stirs so many emotions in me.the more I cry the more I want to continue watching.I've NEVER seen such passion portrayed in ANY Hollywood, Bollywood actors.love it

This broke my heart. Excellent acting. I have special admiration for this entire acting ensemble. Thank you Ozcan Deniz and Fahriye Evcen for your performances. Even as the character Leyla rests in peace, so does the one I love.
My mum died in 2012 from dementia and last year in 2019 August,my dad also passed on from dementia. They could not remember who they were or who we (their children)were.Watching this movie brought back all those painful memories.I surrender all to God and pray for all those affected by this dreadful illness. Excellent acting.

Same for me, mom died in 2018 of dementia. It was terrible for her and for me, sometimes she recognized me, other times I was a stranger to her. We cried together when she was well, because she knew that the next day or another day she would forget about me again.
I'm so afraid of watching this movie because all the comments says everyone cries and its heart breaking I absolutely love Turkish movies but sometimes I just can't move on from them . It's like these movies speaks volumes to you.

This was a true love story. I cried from the moment she was sick. It’s such a sad movie. The main actor is such a talented actor and so handsome. The actress was very pretty and also a good actress. My very first time to watch a Turkish movie and the love of Leyla and Iskender is very touching...I am short of words how I should describe the love of Iskender to Leyla is....it is so sincere and sacred....i love this pair but I cried so much towards the end of the movie. Very beautiful yet very sad love story.
