Once a famous music producer, Berk Ataman (Barış Kılıç) lost everything in life - including his job and his love. He abandoned Istanbul and began a quiet life in Cyprus where he did not have anything but the sea and sun. During 13 years, he finds peace with his boat and his loneliness. After the crisis he faced in 2001, his life will change now with a new crisis.

The country is of course a muslim dictatorship and the girl would have been likely stoned for sleeping with a man out of marriage or for wearing those clothes. Some areas, like Instanbul, are more tolerant but the vast majority of the country is as such.

When I was introduced to this Turkish movie I didn't think that I was going to like it or even cry watching it. But after watching throughout the story and close to the end was when it really hit me. Considering how beautiful the romantic movie was written and portrayed, it's one of the best romantic films that hardly gets any attention like that here in the U.S. However, it does make you think about how fragile life can be sometimes. But if there is one thing that never dies, love does not. Even with the memories and wonderful moments you have with that person. It will always stay with you.
Sorry but I did not like the movie. Everyone can write such a cheap movie script. Everything went so fast. There where no exiting scène's, lot of things just did't make any sense. If I hade to grade this movie I would give it 2 out of the 5 stars⭐⭐

I've always avoided to watch this movie because i thought it was very cheesy. But to my surprise, i was wrong, its beautiful love story, very emotional its worth to watch it.

Related love story tragedy i had. We were bf gf 6 years, through this year's we work hard for our future. But he got liver cancer, never share with me, he fight this cancer alone, i just find out on his last day of his life, november 1, 2019 he die. Very hard to accept, so much pain, difficult to move on. I feel this story real. I love her last word " HAVE HOPE FOR YOURSELF "

The Greek islands are like in the movie. I have many greek friends, entire families. Been in 2 Greek weddings and more celebration.
