I like the 3ft whips with a separate power plug to the quick disconnect as the whips that have the wiring through the quick connect can flash off & on as movement can break the power connection. I had some that had a little key fob ( came with 2 + batteries included) same as yours that wifi communicated with the whip control box & you could cycle through the different colors & modes of which there was about 300.
