  • Hello CZcamsrs
    Sony is rumored to hold three big announcements in the year 2018 for its full frame E-mount system. The list includes the Sony A7S III, Sony A7III and Sony a6700 cameras. The a7 iii is already announced and the next would be the a7S iii and lastly but not leastly the a6700.
    Sony is working hard for new cameras and lenses. Sony fans are happy as they’ve started to meet the third series in the A7-series cameras. First one is the high-resolution monster Sony A7R III which was announced in October, 2017. There were rumors floating around for the A7sIII but the company didn’t unveil this camera as of 2017. So 2018 would be exciting for full frame mirrorlesss system because we might see the Sony A7S III, Sony A7III and the Sony a6700 .Now let’s have a closer look to these camera and upcoming FE lenses.
    The Sony A7SII comes packed with a 12.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor with full pixel readout. The mirrorless camera features a sensitivity up to ISO 409600; wide dynamic range; 5-axis image stabilization and internal recording of 4K movies.
    The successor camera, Sony A7SIII is set to announce in the second half of 2018. Most likely it will be announced at Photokina in September 2018. The eye-catching information regarding this upcoming A7S III is that it would use the Flagship A9’s AF system and capable to record 4K @60 fps. A full frame 6K sensor readout is also possible ( hopefully) This camera will be a game changer in every aspect , and Panasonic will have to compete with this beast for the consumer video market.

    I agree with everything you said. Here is my opinion which will make this the 1st perfect camera for me: It needs 4k 60fps, a flippy screen, fully implemented touch screen including menus, no 4k overheating, full phase detect auto focusing, and NO 30 minute time limit! This will make other brands very concerned. I realize this won't happen. This is a dream. Sony will miss a few of these things guaranteed.

      jeffhalebopp absolutely guaranteed that they will miss a few of those things. But on the other hand I do agree with you, that would be the perfect video camera.

      i'm banking on 4k60 and a focus system with speed and accuracy between the A7III and A9. What i REALLY want is ProRes RAW, or at least 10bit 4:2:2 external. One can dream...lol

      Drew Felder, believe it or not, I also want the 4k lower bitrate of only 60kpbs to. I've seen the quality of this bitrate coming out of the A7RIII and it is very good. This will save me lots of 4tb external hard drives that fill up fast. My GX85 shoots only at 100kbps so the lower bitrate of the Sony will take roughly half the disk space with stuff that's not mission critical with ultimate quality but still will be very good :)

      Drew Felder we have to dream that's part of our life. 😂😂😂 And let's not forget that if we dream, later on we can complain if they don't deliver our dreams 😂😂😂

    Give us that flippy screen Sony. They almost don't have to improve anything over the a7 III, just gives us that damn flip out screen lol.

      Camera Conspiracies wholeheartedly agree with you man. I don't really understand them why the hell they don't want to do it.

      It is all about personal needs and preferences. If you think that you need than that`s what you have to use. It is important that you love your gear and be happy using it.

    I doesn’t need and won’t have a flip screen, neither do I want one I do think it’ll have a better screen though. It won’t have 10bit 4k. Possibly 10bit 1080p 24/25/50/60p but I doubt it. If you take Sony’s Xperia range as a bench mark on their sensor trends, then I think it’ll be focussed around high frame rates I’d say as much as 1000fps cropped 720p. I think probably 120 4k 8bit but definitely 4k 60p and definitely 240fps 1080. I also think they’ll include electronic ND somehow and is probably why it has taken a while to release, fitting this into the body. It’ll definitely have a better battery and menu. This camera has to set the standard now, it’s taken so long for it to come out that if they don’t over spec it, then it simply won’t sell, as there are plenty of other options out there now for film makers. The market has changed quite alot since the a7s2 and this camera will need to address that.

    Are there any events coming up that you think Sony will announce a 6700 release date.. if so when and what is the event? Thx good video thanks for sharing

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety

      WADZ UP yes in my opinion September 25-th at Photokina in Cologne Germany. That's the best place for them to announce because it is a world wide event.

      Blue Sky Photography awesome info and a logical prediction and I agree any idea of a price point just for the body..approximately? Cheers

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety +1

      WADZ UP unfortunately it will be a bit pricey IMO. Around 3500$ roughly. But at least it will have bigger battery and dual SD card slot.

    I think the A7III is a perfect camera, when one considers price and capabilities. Why did you switch away from Sony? I enjoy your videos.

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety +1

      Rick Mentore that time it was different. There were no lenses, and the reliability of the cameras was all over the place. I think that the way I'm doing it now is better, because I use multiple brands and I have a better understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each brand. (obviously every brand has advantages and disadvantages)

    I wonder if anybody will need a new Sony S model.
    The A7III is already that good in low light....

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety

      El Duderinho absolutely correct, but that make me feel like this camera will be even better. Personally myself I don't need it, but there are many others who do want it. But most importantly they force Nikon and Canon to do something. 😉😉😉

    • @sosomelodies659

      Since the A7s is video-centric, it could benefit from the new 5.6 million dot EVF that they just patented. Heck ...put in the A9's 3.6 million dot EVF is okay too. The new longer battery life would also be a key feature..the "Z" series battery found in the A9 and A7rIII. Everybody wants a 4k 60p as well. And lastly...a flippy screen.

    • @dr.sommer5069
      @dr.sommer5069 Před 6 lety +2

      Wonder if a better EVF would be as important for a video centric camera, but a bright flippy screen with high resolution and 4k 60p would be awesome.

    Sony's assault will no doubt be relentless. We can expect a lot from the forthcoming A7SIII and I'm sure Sony will deliver on that promise too. Perhaps we'll be referring to the holy trinity as the three mkIII series A7 bodies and not lenses anymore lol 😋

    Best low light beast is Dracula. Surprised you don't know that Atilla because Transylvania (Erdély) is near your homeland. If the Sony A7Siii came up against Dracula, at night, the Sony would get its ass kicked I have to tell you. In daylight, it's another story. Féljen a sötétből!

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety +1

      Saurat man you are absolutely hilarious. Actually Transilvania is my homeland, so watch out.... I might be a far relative to Dracula. 😂😂😂.
