@@josephclegg3562 Huh. Forgot there was a Karate Kid cartoon lol TaleSpin was '90s iirc And one I didn't mention, 'cause I didn't remember if there _was_ a cartoon for it was Fluppy Dogs.
Popples be hard to include because popples song goes pop pop popples unless they cut out word popples. And as was typing that I realized how similar yet different it is to gummi bears but with word popples in song hard to include.
My problem is I'm still singing the last one when the next one starts. But the only ones I missed were ones I never watched. (Or in the case of Visionaries, never even heard of.) Also, it's kind of sad how many of these theme songs I have on my MP3 player right now.
Perhaps it was because it was the first cartoon I watched as a young kid, but my all time favorite into was The Gummi Bears, the Lyrics as well as the scenes were good.
Missed 5, three of them I'd never heard of before, one of them had, like three shows running at the same time and I apparently merged all the themes into one...
One of the advantages of being an early 90s kid in Australia: most of our cartoons & anime were American imports 5-10 years out of date. I only missed number 13 out of the entire 25 series selected.
Funny thing about number 9 is that it the song practically gives itself away in the first line, and STILL not many people remember it... And let's admit it, there's NO WAY you could disguise number 10.
i gotta say that it was hard for me to guess 10 since i only heard that intro like once at a friends place, we watched an episode on vhs. p.s good memories XD
I agree, #10 is obvious no matter how you cut it about. Also, the German version is hilarious. Just putting that out there. I didn't know #9. I think it was shown here but I wasn't interested as a kid and so I didn't know it. #17 also gives itself away in the first word :P
I'm surprised. I got 23/25 correct. Yeah, I watched a lot of TV as a kid and rented even more from the video rental store. Oh the joys of watching the VCR eat tapes from the rental store while laughing my butt off while my parents bug out over it. XD
But which Voltron? I mean didn't Vehicle Voltron have a different theme from the Lion Voltron? Never really cared for Vehicle Voltron and if it's theme was different I'd probably miss that one. But if it were the lions I'd absolutely get that.
No arguments there. But I had to ask because there are some that like Vehicle Voltron and actually believe it to be better. Don't see why that is, it never seemed the same. Well obviously it wasn't since it was two different animes that got turned into the same series in this country. But it was just like "Well if Earth managed to create our own Voltron then why did we send Keith, Lance, Sven, Hunk, and Pidge to bring back Voltron in the first place?" The days Voltron was on when I was a kid I couldn't wait to get home from school to be able to watch. After they started airing the Vehicle Voltron episodes I wasn't as interested. The lions had more character to them than the vehicles ever did.
I got 13 of them, 6 almost instantly. Instant recognition: 5, Chip&Dale Rescue Rangers; 7, Inspector Gadget; 10, TMNT; 14, DuckTales; 15, GummyBears; 16, Smurfs, and 24 Ghost Busters. Got there eventually on 1, He-man; 4, G.I. Joe; 8, Muppets Babies; 17, Jem; 22, She-Ra; and 25, Transformers. I am very embarrassed that I didn't recognize the Spider Man theme before it was stated. I'm off to watch some remedial Spider Man cartoons.
I got he-man, my little pony, g.i.goe, the care bears, inspector gadget, the muppet babies, the ninja turtles, ducktales, the smurfs, Jem, Thundercats, she-ra, and ghostbusters. And I am only 13. I guess my parents taught me well.
Good Job, kid! :) 'cause I guessed He-man, Care Bears, Inspector Gadget, (almost) Muppet Babies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, (DUH) Ducktales, & Ghostbusters. I hate myself for not guessing Garfield & My Little Pony. 2-3 years, & I wouldn't've been an '80's kid at all.
Wait, you didn't get Transformers but you got Jem? A little weird cause I think Jem is kinda one of the forgotten cartoons of the decade. Remembered well enough that they based a live action box office bomb on it. Keep in mind that I did watch a bit of the first season when it first came out, think where I was living they were sandwiching it between He-Man/She-Ra and Thundercats, or maybe it was following Transformers. Just hope my sister does the same with my niece as your folks with you. Though I understand she has been trying to expose her to the original Duck Tales, Rescue Ranges, and Darkwing Duck. Think she said she supposedly managed to find Tail Spin somewhere for her to watch.
Until my dying day, I will always remember the theme song for Inspector Gadget.

Great job putting this together. I got most of them. Thanks for the video!!
HERE HERE! ✌
Optimus Prime was my first love 😂
You want to make love to a truck?
It was the voice, right? Right 😂
@@Kit_Bear I was 4 or 5 and had no idea of the concept of making love - and he was an attractive Truck 😂😂😂
Anyone else singing along with the Gummi Bears theme? It's just so good! I managed to get 4 wrong.

man i watched to many cartoons as a kid this makes me happy
That was too many good memories!!!
My problem is I'm still singing the last one when the next one starts. But the only ones I missed were ones I never watched. (Or in the case of Visionaries, never even heard of.)
Also, it's kind of sad how many of these theme songs I have on my MP3 player right now.
Damn, most of them I only know in Dutch! Lol
I miss Saturday morning cartoons 80’s and 90’s
One of the advantages of being an early 90s kid in Australia: most of our cartoons & anime were American imports 5-10 years out of date. I only missed number 13 out of the entire 25 series selected.
That and having them brought to you by Agro. I swear our parents were laughing their arses off at some of the things he said that made it to air.
There was only so many of these to make it into the 90s, I'm pretty jealous. Kinda proud of myself I knew a few though. Haha
Wow! I'm 10 again. Awesome nostalgia. Thank you!!!
I'll never forget MASK
I agree, #10 is obvious no matter how you cut it about. Also, the German version is hilarious. Just putting that out there. I didn't know #9. I think it was shown here but I wasn't interested as a kid and so I didn't know it. #17 also gives itself away in the first word :P
Omg loved this!! Do more
I'm surprised. I got 23/25 correct. Yeah, I watched a lot of TV as a kid and rented even more from the video rental store. Oh the joys of watching the VCR eat tapes from the rental store while laughing my butt off while my parents bug out over it. XD
For a challenge, I watched at 1.5 speed; I still got some, though there were some shows that I never heard of before.
I was expecting Voltron Defender Of The Universe to pop up
me too.....me too...
But which Voltron? I mean didn't Vehicle Voltron have a different theme from the Lion Voltron? Never really cared for Vehicle Voltron and if it's theme was different I'd probably miss that one. But if it were the lions I'd absolutely get that.
I was waiting for voltron too
No arguments there.
Plus Gobots and Starblazers
Love the push animation at start. Instinct says resident evil but could have been tomb raider lol.
Oh yeah guess the theme songs lol.
Ok so I wasn't born in or around the 80's but I know all of these shows. I was born in 01 and I adore muppet babies and Bravestar.
Bring it all back pleaseeeeee
I got he-man, my little pony, g.i.goe, the care bears, inspector gadget, the muppet babies, the ninja turtles, ducktales, the smurfs, Jem, Thundercats, she-ra, and ghostbusters. And I am only 13. I guess my parents taught me well.
Indeed they have... Good work!
Good work Youngling, I got all but ,Punky brewster and spider-man.
I got all except for Mask Crusaders, Silverhawk, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Visionaries, Cops, Captain N the Game Master, and Spiderman.
Missed 9 out of 25. Not bad, right? Man was that ever a golden age for cartoons!
lemme guess: the one season shows like Visionaries and Jace and the Wheeled Warriors?
What a blast. Never knew how many 80s cartoons said their own name at the 12 second mark.
Think I got like 15 of them right but the other 10 didn't air i Sweden so I'll just call that 15 a perfect score.
Nearly mixed up RR and Inspector Gadget
These were mostly before me, I'm '83
Don't feel bad i thought chip & dale rescue rangers was darkwing duck at first boy was i wrong 🤦🤣
Nice trip down memory lane
How about a top 25 cartoon villains from the 1980's to the 1990's
