Bro the same thing happened to me but for Man City academy and I couldn’t do anything abt it cos my asthma was at its WORST peak like to this day that’s the worst I’ve had it. So Yh we played the academy. There we’re scouts from other clubs too. I don’t kno if he was still there but the Man U player habeeb but we played for the same team innit. I even came off early like 70 mins cos I couldn’t take deep breaths, inhaler wasn’t doing shit like bro it was out of my control atp. I’ve never cried that much in my life cos bear in mind I was like 10-11 at the time so it felt like I just lost my greatest opportunity of my life. it was my 1st chance to get scouted since I left Bolton wanderers(I had to leave due to financial issues,papers n shit, had to lie to the players abt my age cos I was 1 yr and a half younger so they made fun of me, crying after most sessions so Yh). I looked back now I don’t even stress cos that day was out of my control, and even if I did get scouted we couldn’t afford to travel all the way to Man City back and forth every session especially during school too. It happens in life man but at the end of the day, our future is in God’s hand and he has a plan. COVID lowkey messed me up after tho so I kinda lost interest for football, even got a reoccurring injury 😭 but it came back a yr later so we’re trying again. Love bro hope you make it fr🤞🏾
