  • If your happiness isn't based off something its just a reaction.
For your happiness to be long term it has to be based off something that doesn't change and is there for you all the time. A lot of people put their happiness in materialistic things or people but these will all change and eventually fade away.
You should chase happiness inadvertently through making yourself better, your purpose or your walk with God.
For true happiness to occur you have to put you focus on things that don't change and things that you can devote yourself to and be proud of. If you chase happiness you will 100% be let down because the world isn't always sunshine and rainbows.
Anything worth being proud of and worth pursuing wont always be easy, and this is a blessing. We should be proud of what we accomplish and what God has blessed us with and this should be where you put our happiness.
IF HAPPINESS ISN'T BASED OF SOMETHING ITS JUST A REACTION.

I think maybe to find true happiness, you gotta be disciplined, and embrace the suffering and the pain and the sadness, and once you do that find something simple to be happy about, dont think about it too deeply, just be happy and continue pushing through the pain.
Because true happiness isnt dopamine, infact i think dopamine is what hinders true happiness if overused.
True happiness comes from knowing that life isnt about being happy or comfortable, but i think you can only be truly happy by simplicity and enduring a little pain and sadness.
If you are truly happy you can look back no matter how bad things are and the feeling wont fade.
Idk how accurate that is or how much sense it makes though, just saying things that i think make sense, so correct me if im wrong

This is true, if you try and chase happiness your going to be dissatisfied and disappointed 100% of the time
Happiness needs to be chased inadvertently through chasing your purpose and following God’s intended plan for your life which won’t always be easy and it will be hard, having true fulfillment is looking back and realizing the crap you’ve pushed through to get where you are now and knowing that it all had purpose to it.
I feel as if God intended it this way to help shape us into strong men
