You Are At War Everyday

Everyday is a battle for our most valuable assets like time, attention and priorities.
We are constantly battling for everything we have against evil forces that are at work 24/7.
1 Peter 5: 8 says our adversary (the devil) roams around like a lion seeking who to destroy- The devil is always looking for a fight and thats why we are always at war.
In 1 Timothy 6:11-12 Paul is telling timothy to practice attributes of righteousness which are faith, love gentleness and etc, and to use they are your weapons in this "good fight" with the promise and the reward of heaven and eternal life.
We have to be ready and equipped with the fruits of the spirit and arm ourselves with the word of God so then we can also join this fight and not fall to the devil.
