@@samuelfoxx6023 He's a little weird and I think just has a lot of financial pressure to create content as well as a need to prove himself to commenters who constantly ridicule him for being a coward not going back. I think that he will end up like almost all of the other CZcamsrs who faught in Ukraine. There's a reason why you don't hear from most of the other such people who faught there anymore. They're all dead.

@@wigon 90% of the commenters that insist he keep going back to Ukraine are Russian bots that want to see him dead. The amount of hate he gets for doing jobs there that are important is ridiculous. So many times I've seen his comments flooded with people calling him fake or a coward for not engaging enemies in combat on camera, when the last few times he was there it was to clear mines, lay new mines, and hold key positions so that other friendly teams don't get flanked. Every time he says he's going back, it sends shivers down my spine because of the things I see on Reddit. I hope he survives his current situation there right now.

Lol being basically the PL/CC and clearing trenches, dragging casualties is funny and badass. Makes for great footage though
Damn that was intense. Absolute chaos. Amazing how Karmakut was able to coordinate all the units as well as he did. Those Shahid drones are terrifying. The most intense part was at the end walking into that 3 way meat grinder. I'm surprised that in real life they don't use more mirrors to check around corners with a man covering him as he checks. The other items that would be useful are ballistic shields. Heavy, but useful on short distance assaults. I'd rather have that and a 5.7 pistol (or any pistol with AP rounds) than just storm in with a rifle hoping to get the first shot off.
Problem with balistic shields is that they arent as bulletproof as most videogames want you to believe. Lugging a super heavy huge outline increasing object that a burst from a pkm will absolutly obliterate is not as advantagous as it looks. You also need to be standing up for it to be usefull which isnt always an option when combat isnt along nice long even trenches but foxhole to foxhole
The Ukraines are mostly clearing trenches with an reco drone. You will find some videos (even in yt) where you can see how they do it. Mostly the drone operater when, where and how the team should throw grenades and where hidden entrances/bunkers are.
A big bulky shield through tight trenches, jumping down into them and back out, through brush and shattered tree limbs? Plus as mentioned full sized rifle and MG rounds would shoot right through it. The mirror might help if they didn't have drones.
Shield and a 5-7 in a trench? Lmaoooo real life ain't a video game kid.
@@rozkaz661 See my last reply to TheMusicftw1. Ballistic shields have been used in war and can be in fact quite practical within a trench for the reasons specified in that reply.

I wish I had the free time to dedicate to this level of commitment to a milsim game. I’m an active duty infantry officer and would love to use milsim as a way to flex the orders process. Not even entirely interested in gameplay, but to plan and coordinate.

You guys should have someone playing as Zeus for the enemy forces. Put in rules where they cant abuse their role, like a number of enemy units they can spawn and use. To simulate it as more realistic, the battlefield is rarely this static, the enemy will force you to adjust

mate ukraine is that static. You attack a trench line and the only "movement" is artillery and FPV drones coming at you. Very rarely anything resembling a QRF, and it's at most platoon sized and usually spotted by your own sides drones before it reaches the area. Artillery and your own FPV drones engage and hit them as they dismount or force them to withdraw. That's if your assault is even successful at taking the trench. It would be nice for the AI to have pathing in the trenches but this is arma, they can barely convoy on a road
@@saucycardinal3322 I never said anything of that sort. These battles are clearly not even. I didn't even know there was a Zeus player because the Russians seem to not put up much resistance to this attack. But I guess it's not fun to push into a enemy who hits you back with artillery everywhere you attack.

You're seeing M240 gunners with an m4 slung is because he was originally an AB or TL and had to pick up the 240 after his gunner died
You should try ArmA reforger it looks better than this.
Arma 3 has more mods, fpv drones, artillery, attack helicopters, and jets.
Looks Better =/= Having a much Larger player and Mod Base.
Reforger is a testbed for ArmA 4. Bohemia said as much when talking about the game . So players would rather stick with Arma 3 and wait till a more fleshed out game like Arma 4 comes out to start moving their communities and developing mods.
Well, I appreciate you showing more about the Ukrainian war. I wish there was a little bit more realism. If you ever need a consultant on Ukrainian tactics I’m here because they are starting to get familiarized with NATO. They are definitely not up to par with us. Also, there’s not enough weapon diversity. It depends on which unit you’re trying to represent as well.
