Spoilers-----------------------
The problem we had with this event was the code to keep OPFOR limited to 3-lives was broken, so while we expected a certain amount of enemies, they ended up having an unlimted amount of ammo and manpower! You can see how that went!
So they basically cheated?
not cheated, code breaks, arma is jank, op was still amazing
Iâd love to see more opfor gameplay actually
@@karmakut I thought it was planned but kept out of BLUFOR knowledge. Turned out awesome.
Those things (intelligence failures, bad luck, botched operations) happen.
Loved watching how you reacted to the situation.
The 3-lives being broken added to the story so much! The slow feeling of being overwhelmed against an unstoppable force felt like a genuine mission going badly wrong.
I bet bohemian interactive must be in tears after realizing that how much their product is capable of , they must be so obliged and thankful to Karmakut
I have to point out that their product would be nothing without this community, both in terms of the players making it REAL and the content creators making their reality REAL.
BI is one helluva developer and they've made a solid platform ever since OFP. And ever since OFP there's been a dedicated following completing their work and making it happen, together.
It's really sad that there's so few in this community. Imagine what this could have been with a world spanning community, each locale capable of bringing up whole companies of able, willing and free players to participate in events such as this one.
@@RealCadde arma had a huge playerbase and popular content creators before the Squadops community.
@@scallie6462 Yes? When did i state otherwise?
@@RealCadde I think he was just adding
@@RealCadde I think it'll get there one day. I think the biggest drawback is how unmodern Arma is. Like there's no experience like it, but there's also a lot of jank you have to live with to get that experience. But thats only going to get better with time and technology. And seeing how easy the modding tools have been to use compared to the last one, I can't wait to see how Arma 4 community flourishes. It'll take time to get to where we are at today with Arma 3 in terms of content, but I think it will get there quicker, and with much more possibility than we ever imagined in Arma 3.
These have such an authentic feel. Way better than your guyâs PVE operations. Would love to see other types of mission sets like a hostage rescue or HVT kill/capture.
Be carful doing PVP Kill or capture type game modes. Itâs sounds fun till you lose/win in like 2 mins cause the HVT disconnected
Same goes for all these games, groundbranch, squad, arma. Pvp is king
@@kekistanimememan170 thatâs why KOG would need select people (like me) to be their HVT
@@kekistanimememan170 These aren't 'game modes' but custom made missions. If the HVT disconnects due to net issues, the mission isn't failed or over....they would simply wait for him to load back in or replace him.

This was the definition of intense. I can only imagine how fun it was playing lol.
Just imagine if the other team had a dedicated radio intelligence man, going through channels until he found the enemyâs and have some sort of relay to whoever is in charge

Holy damn, I think this is a pinnacle in ArmA content on CZcams. Going from a bold mission to an absolute heartbreaking massacre. With the briefing, proper radio communications, UAV surveillance and the final credits. This is a piece of art.
Agree completely! If this doesnât get at least 1 million views weâre not helping enough.
Ive played in a few milsim groups through out the years, small and large; super serious to super laid back. NONE of them even come close to this. This is what Arma3, on a milsim level, what every milsim group should be trying to achieve. The lulls as much as the action parts are all down to near perfection and the story honestly comes full circle nearly every operation.
I honestly can not describe what this was like to watch. It had everything youd want as a player to have in it. Long Range engagements, CQB, medical, bounding and movements under fire, CAS runs, aircraft being hit, ISR and so much more.
Well said good sir
Your mom is a nice piece of đâŠâŠI mean a nice piece of art.

You're editing skills are coming up Karma. It was heartbreaking watching the boys carrying their friends out and getting cut down on the way. Out of ammo. The ending roll credits was genius.
Don't stop.
seconded. I came here to see arma not to feel.
Yet I wasnt disappointed
Lol for real man almost made me tear up.
Indeed
Lol weird
Was a blast taking part in this event as OPFOR! Managed to Kill one KOG so I would count that as a sucess for me :D (I was the insurgent who tumbled down the hill at 38:13 lol)

47:20 This is a heartbreaking story you see in a movie. You guys really played that completely unscripted and it turned out like that. Can't imagine how intense this must have felt for the last few remaining.

God this was so good. Literally going to watch it again. I know this takes a lot to produce but please make more like this Karma.
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for making these events happen, I had a blast! (And died in several). Very happy that my clips got included.
Your lucky near miss on the mortar drone strike let you live to join in the pursuit later. That was good stuff!
Iâve just started playing this game and did the Helicopter Tutorial in VR. And seeing these guys Land the two choppers that precise and quick on that small roof so that the troops could disembark on the roof is just amazing! That really takes skill omg đ
Again you have absolutely nailed it. It may be a game but damn the amount of immersion and intensity this has hits me hard. Seems close to being real as it gets. The moment you are vulnerable, changes everything. Even with the assets on hand the overwhelming enemy is to much. You are expected to die there. At least not alone or afar from each other. Good job Karmakut
Yeah, I found myself rooting for the players as they retreated under fire. Not just good game play but also great post production!
bro that ending was something out of a movie with the gentle music playing and the frantic radio chatter as the soldiers made one last stand. beautiful
Excellent video Karma! The way you slowly built the tension as the insurgents overwhelmed KOG was so well done, and consequently heartbreaking.
Appreciate all the work you put into these events and then editing the videos after.
Keep them coming dude!
Possibly some of the best editing thus far. Great to see karma ramping up the game year after year
An hour long one life Kramakut millsim video is exactly what I love to see when I get home
This is the reason I watch youtube, for videos just like this. 10/10 for realism, editing, story building, team effort and the added camera angles are such a bonus to see as well!
The most harrowing operation to date! These are just spectacular, there are so many moments. 28:20 Take a look at No Mercy Marty, extremely focused.
The editing must have taken forever. Nice end product. I look forward to more of these videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Holy moly that was intense! Well done all. Thanks for uploading.
This was such an insanely fun mission to take part in. That entire assault of building 11 and the silent room clearing was so damn intense.
Too bad there weren't more guys to shoot in the face :/

No happy end though :(

Would love to see a "hold the position" game mode here with defenders having 2 lives whilst in a fort or def AO, the enemy having infinite - hold until a timer expires/air support arrives and then extract.
What an absolute masterpiece. My heart was racing right at the end and when everyone was KIA, I felt that.
My favorite part was when Reaper saw the technical & the closed caption interpreted, "Reaper, Factory Control, bomb on target, one times hellfire." As "Reaper Factory control, Obama Target one time sell fire." I almost did a spit take. đ€Łđ€Ł

All around one of the best videos I've watched in a while, felt like I was there. Not to mention the quality which was better than 90% of the shit online nowadays. Thanks for giving the community yet another banger of a video!
I can withouth a doubt say Karmakut, that in my 33 years i have NEVER seen anything this good gaming wise on CZcams. I watched thoose 52 minutes like it was the most engaging multi million dollar movie. The mission, the comms, the tactics, the editing... wow. Thank you for this
Another great video, keep them coming!
Would be quite cool to see an operation to retrieve captured BLUFOR on this scale.
I've been watching the channel since the early squad years and this is by far my favorite peace of content, the planning, coordination, and care that you and all those that help make it happen shows through in the editing, effects, and the operation.
Thank you Karamkut for making content I've always dreamed of seeing!
Been waiting for this vid to drop since I saw Drewskiâs upload and It did not disappoint. These 1 life pvp events have been my favorite thing to watch from you and I hope you keep âem coming!

Most realistic gaming I've seen so far
I've been watching these videos for some time now and I have to say that IF I was only
Listening and NOT watching, I'd believe that I was listening to Actual events. The amount of realism and attention to details is incredible, each participant delivers an Exact response and even though the terminology has changed substantially since my time, it brings back so many memories.....I wish I could Thank EVERY SINGLE person who puts this much into what you're all doing in these videos.
This was legit more entertaining to watch than any movie I've seen in the last year or more. Absolutely incredible community and effort from Karma and the others in this video
I like how the ambush gradually ramped up in intensity from something they could possibly escape to a completely chaotic and hopeless situation. That's really good pacing right there.
dang these must take alot of work to put together, props
That surly guy at 36:29 was pretty good imo
Would love to see more opfor gameplay
Bro, that was the most epic thing I have seen. Great coordination, wonderful mission, perfect comms and the editing? Chefs kiss. When it became clear that it is going to be a wipe, i shed a manly tear for the fallen brothers. Amazing video, Karma. I came years ago for Squad mortar videos, but I could have never anticipated what you hit me with. Keep them coming!
Great to see that someone that used a real gun and nods at least once in their life finally told them that you can actually use an EOTech or even a Specter with nods.
What's the argument against it? I always assumed you would just turn down the eotech brightness and be fine
damn. that got emotional
Do much more of this. I like the cenematic war-documentary style mixed with full length gameplay, multiple POVs, captions, etc. I love all that shit. Do it more!
This is some of the finest gaming content I have ever seen.

That last bit felt so frantic and real.
And stuff like that happens too... Nigeria for example.
Interesting that we didn't get to see Drewski's last stand and... "unfortunate demise". He wasn't listed at end either, does this count as media censorship?

The sun came up and everything went to hell. 1-2 started being overrun and thatâs when my heart jumped into my throat. That was the moment when I realised the platoon wasnât gonna make it out. Can't *_not_* comment on this one as someone who's taken part in large scale Arma 3 ops. Great comms, great team play, awesome editing, and (from my experience) a special thanks to the folks who planned it and specifically those who played as OpFor.
yeesh. Reminds me of a lot of the ambushes my fellow Marines ran into in Kandahar Province up in those hills and mountains. Scary stuff. Real test of command leadership at the top and bottom levels.
