University Challenge S44E01 Manchester vs Selwyn-Cambridge

After waiting somebody kind enough to upload the episodes for years, I decided to do it myself this year. The first of the 2014-2015 season, we have Manchester and Selwyn.

I would love to see the 1976 season! I was on the Leicester team, and the first Indian woman on the program, and we barely lost to Merton in the last 2 minutes! It was great fun!

@@sandyanarayanswami5708 The broadcasting rights was with ITV prior to changing hands to BBC. Thus BBC have it only since 1995-96. wish i could watch all those whole set of recordings,lot to learn and see how the show as a whole has evolved and progressed over years.

There was a mistake in the v/2 question right? Is it v/2 or v/√2 ?

It should be V/sqrt(2). Integrating (V*sin theta)^2 from 0 to 2*pi gives V^2*pi. So it's sqrt(V^2*pi/2*pi) = V/sqrt(2).
