Downhill run begins from the Harmon Den exit on I-40, continues on Forest Service Road 288 which is Buzzard Roost Road. Buzzard Roost overlook will be on your right past the high point of the road. The trail is marked by crosses painted on a tree and it is easy to miss. The overlook is just off the road although it is steep and slick. Use at your own risk. The Goat Trail is a dirt trail past the Buzzard Roost overlook off the right side of the gravel road.
