We would call this 3+2 since you're only using the additional axis for positioning.
Agreed, for this application it is just 3+2, this specific part did not require Simultaneous 5-Axis
Thanks for this video
Everyone knows it better on the internet but this shows a nice real life programm
Thank you for the kind words!
At 3:52 i bet you hung for a second to be like "that tool better not be too long" 😅👀😂😂
😂 clearance is clearance 👊
Man watching this Doosan struggle with keeping its motion remotely smooth on simple moves makes me appreciate my Mazaks so much more lol
Yea there is something to be said for the smoother motion/rotations.
The programming looks far from optimal, regardless of what machine its been run on just look at the retracts from 5:30 lots of wasted motion.
What is this head at the last operation?
👌🏻
Why is like taking its time to switch from place to place ? Speaking on the first operation, its like loading idk its weird
Is it on single block ? Im really confused lol
@@Houcnc most likely op stop
@@jamesbooth7185 opt stop wouldnt do that. thats most likely single block.
@run-cnc single block would have a pause after every movement, it looks like it stops every pass. Most likely, he's using a subroutine/subprogram and has an m1 at the end of it
whats cam?
CAM is Computer Aided Manufacturing, we use it to write our CNC code (programs)
Dude needs to learn how to program
true xD thought the same
Which mistakes would you say they have made?
Certainly open to suggestion, what do you feel would make the biggest improvement?
@@cncmachiningchannel you hog out a big pocket for example that doesnt need to be faced on whole plane that you then mill away again
@@philippatzlesberger thanks for the input....what process would you implement?
