My little one reset our Insignia Smart TV via FireTV App. We’ve been using the app since two remotes have been broken/not working. The app wouldn’t connect to the TV. I did go buy a new remote since my screen is set at “choose your language”. I have tried to pair the remote several times and it just won’t connect. I have unplugged, restarted, to boots right back up to the language screen. Any tips would be super helpful!! Thank you!!

I had one of these TVs that crapped out after three months. No picture. Lighting panel apparently burned out. Still under warranty so they're just exchanging it for a new one. I'll see how it goes with the replacement. My confidence in the brand is badly shaken though.

I got this tv in a raffle , when setting up there was no option for wifi. After selecting language it says “searching for your remote” tap home to pair. And it’s stuck there … I’m thinking the purchaser didn’t unselect the add your wifi. How can I go around this?

Unplug ur modem/doubter from wall outlet wait 30 seconds then plug back in. Then try update again keep trying for the next minute until internet is fully connected.

Your TV probably uses Infrared for remote control, your FireStick uses BluTooth. Make sure your Universal control is compatible...

I have a Fire TV 4-series television, but the developer options are missing. You need them for sideloading apps.
Yes u can… in order to enable developer options it u have to go somewhere in settings (maybe about) then find build number then tap build number like 7 times then u will see developer options if u click back from the build number screen. Sorry don’t have tv right now.

I go to Netflix an it says it’s “unavailable” it shows it’s compatible with the tv, but it won’t let me download or access it? I’ve tried restarting the tv, troubleshooting everything…nothin works, really appreciate some help thanks

@@stephenm5000 This video is about Amazon Fire TV, not a firestick. The Fire TV DOES have a coax input, which can be either a cable decoder, or an antenna.
