Kyoto is a wonderful place, it was a favorite haunt of mine when I studied abroad just last semester.

I went to a program in Hirakata. It is located between Kyoto and Osaka so going there was really convenient.
Entertaining as always and nice to see inside the shops and detailed look at the souvenirs etc instead of just the temples. Highlight to me was actually being able to touch one of the cats. I would not forget being a cat person.
