Kyoto is my No.1 favourite place in Japan , it has always been all of my life !! Although I am from Tokyo originally ! I've been living in the States for so ~long !! The last time I visited Kyoto was back in 2001 with mom right after losing my dad . We have lots of memories there !! We're both vegetarians, too !! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

Me & mom has been bestfriends, but after dad's passing ,we've become a lot closer ,too I think !! I massage her almost everyday ,or every other days as she loves it & developed mobility issues ,she walks much faster now compared to before . Almost normal paces !! Although still strange & have issues . Elderly people love massages !! My mom has always been loving receiving massages !!

Ohh the bus !!! Our bus was super duper crowded ,too !! We thought we couldn't get off at our stop !! Lol We were so nervous !! My mom is claustrophobic, so I was very worried of her ,too !! Lol 😅

@KendallsIntentions We really felt / worried that we'd miss our stop !! Lollol We managed o.k.,but really hate it ,it was way way over crowded !! We were somewhat used to it as we both are Japanese & our rush hour things are notoriously famous ,but that's for the trains ,though !! Lol.Thank you so much for your reply !! Shimogamo Shrine is dedicated to the protection of women. I'm reading the classical novel Hojoki again because the author's family is associated with this place.

how was your travel during golden week (shinkansen)? i'll be visiting japan next year with my parents and just want to know if its a good idea to get out of tokyo during that holiday period. :) awesome video.
It went well!! I bought the Shinkansen tickets with reserved seating a few weeks ahead of time since they may sell out during Golden Week, so if you travel at that time, I would just recommend doing that! And popular areas such as Tokyo and Kyoto will be crowded, but that's to be expected. Subways and buses were especially crowded, but we made do! 😂
