Shower Tub Crack Prevention (Part Three) - 2015 Tab Max-s Trailer

There is a common cracking problem with Tab trailer shower tubs as they age. The problem stems form the use of Styrofoam blocking for the tub support. over time and use, those blocks become compressed, and leave the plastic tub without support underneath. As the tub flexes more and more, cracks can occur. in this video I describe the problem and solution to this issue, as a "Preventative Maintenance" project.

My T@B has a crack from the drain outward about 3 inches. I just found it yesterday when I was cleaning it out after summer. It’s very dry here and I’m sure the heat and dryness has played havoc with the plastics in the trailer. I know I have to get under there but am really apprehensive because it’s been a terrible spider season and snake season. Do you have any suggestions? Also I would have liked to see the drain nut and washers go on because I’m not sure exactly where they go. Also any advice for mending the already there crack?
