Thanks for the video. You need to complete this session with an underwater footage which can be viewed in VR format on CZcams. As far as I knew that the One R app did not have a "stich for 360 dive case" option so all the videos that I have seen on CZcams with this case have very bad stitch lines. Also I am wondering that this case may not be able to deliver perfect results due its super thick shape. So a video will be very welcome.
Hello, I went diving today with this camera using the default lens (the flat one) during a somewhat cloudy day and the footage was almost completely black where as my gopro hero 7 black had no issues. I even used two 1000 lumen flashlights on my rig and was only able to get a decent shot when i was almost touching my target. What settings should i use when diving with this camera as i want to use it mainly for diving?
Nice review, I never knew about this accessory, Thank you. May I ask, if I use it to record 360 video above water, will there be a glare from the sun, will the video be acceptable? The reason I want to do this is because, the dive case seems like a good protection for the 360 lens, in case I fall when riding an electric unicycle while filming. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment. You will see more glare from the sun / sun flair with this dive case and I would not use this dive case above water to record videos for more than few minutes in hot weather due to camera could overheat easily inside the dive case.

Serious stitching issues with dive case. The video is very disappointing when you see the base of the dive case all the time. One R dive case is total disaster as of today (unless they bring some stitching calibration update to app). Whats your take on this?
Apparently it’s not as waterproof as they claim. I had a life jacket on and barely went under water and it couldn’t perform. Insta360 says jumping in causes extra force that breaks the seal I guess?! Wish that note was in the manual.
@@Running1226 - I think is is outrageous that this has not been communicated when they launched the camera. 5 METERS WATERPROOF blah bla.. And then the footage is totally useless underwater with the ordinary twin mod 360 camera. That kind of marketing pisses me off.
Tried to order the case, battery and frame through your link. International regulation stops them from sending the battery without a suitable camera attached to it. Too bad.

I thought the rig was waterproof without the dive case ..... I found out that is a false statement. Core is fried. Guess I need the dive case?!
360 MOD is waterproof but without dive case you going to have image stitching issues when use underwater.

Does this case also fit the 1inch mod?

I guess you can use the 4k mod with the case is you remove the lens cover before, it's removable
