Watching this video makes me thankful of the gym i go to here in Brazil. Everyone is nice, teachers, the people that frequent it, people at the front desk. Everyone has massive respect for everyone and they know we're all there to improve. I'm happy about my journey and the how much i've evolved. I never felt embarrassed by looking at the big buff guys, I felt proud actually. Sometimes i think that if everyone was just a bit nicer to each other things like that could be prevented.
I have body dysmorphia and I can relate a lot to this guy... been rather Obese since I was a kid, weighed around 25 stone last year and thought I'd never lose the weight, fast-forward to now, I'm 15 stone, still have the stomach but it's mostly loose skin. Dieting helped me a lot as well as walking every day, but now it's kind of made me want to get rid of my stomach even more. But I know I don't need to lose anymore weight because I'm the right weight for my height, it's just... the fear of being obese again scares me, so I can relate so much

5'11 is freakingly tall! At least when I converted it online. Its around 180 cm! Jeesus.... Pyro is tall as hell. Honestly, my dream guy is around 165 cm which is 5 feet and 5 inches. Im around 5'2 (157 cm) and coming from family line that has kind of short people so tall guys makes me uneasy. Guys take too much to themself on their height and muscle mass (or lack of it). Sure some women like big and buff guys but most normally go for average guys. And every one has their own taste, someone might not like you but someone might like you. As it turns out, having an undiagnosed heart disease, the stress of fame, intense bodybuilding, using kit (some of which is highly dangerous), and then going on a sauna is a very deadly combination. RIP Zyzz. But, I do agree with you. Body-building itself is not the healthiest of things, given that you go beyond what is useful for you and venture into aesthetics, which will require some changes to your body which are not healthy to sustain for a long time. The achievement is worth appreciating though, of course, so long they're not doing it in a way which damages their body in a much more severe way.

He was a sickest of the sickest kient tbh, he use to go to HEAPS of gym from round my area (Mount Druitt, Western Sydney) and I’m pretty sure he use to go to the local Uni aswell (Penrith), even tho the bloke was like 10 years older than me and more shredded too what caught his attention from me was the fact we stood eye to eye when I was 12 and he was in his 20s , he ALWAYS gave me little motivation speech’s everytime I seen him at the gym, he use to say I was his favourite Foward (Position in Rugby League) from the area and he has big plans for me becoming a pro player lmao 😂 I remember a few years after he passed and I started getting into the Internet culture and seen the massive impact he had not only me but a whole generation too.

I’m not through the video yet but I’m assuming this is going to go down the ED path- so many men, especially gym junkies, have undiagnosed eating disorders but everyone around them (and themselves) are just telling them that it’s good! That they’re just improving themselves, getting healthy, etc. when it’s just not. Just because they’re buff, just cause they work out and eat salads doesn’t mean they’re healthy
As it turns out, having an undiagnosed heart disease, the stress of fame, intense bodybuilding, using kit (some of which is highly dangerous), and then going on a sauna is a very deadly combination. RIP Zyzz.
But, I do agree with you. Body-building itself is not the healthiest of things, given that you go beyond what is useful for you and venture into aesthetics, which will require some changes to your body which are not healthy to sustain for a long time. The achievement is worth appreciating though, of course, so long they're not doing it in a way which damages their body in a much more severe way.
