Technoblade's fans memed his death because it's his will and jokingly said it himself, but MILKING it and not even supporting the fundraisers he put up and monetize it, is just crossing the damn line.
The memes hit me with bitterness only rn, but I do like that they are there. Its how he wouldve wanted to see his community react. Him being eternalized in minecraft twice is amazing and he deserves the best in whatever there is after death.
Not to mention the bots in the comments doing the same thing just like they did with jacksepticeyes dad. Its seriously awful and shameful the lows people go for views.
Story: The “CZcamsr” that penguinz0 said donated $3,000.00 to the Technoblade fundraiser was just a big clickbait. A smaller CZcamsr did a video explaining how he faked it by saying that he donated a smaller share, inspected the amount of money being donated, and changed it to the number 3000 but forgetting the coma after the three. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY should milk the passing of anybody, especially Techo.

Techno was a good guy. I never met him or knew him personally, but I would watch his content every now and then. I also enjoyed his character on the dream smp. When I found out about his passing, I was heart broken. I’m absolutely repulsed by how people are using Techno to milk in views and cash. You should never do that to ANYONE. Especially the deceased! People are sick. I’m happy that people are calling out this BS.

When I watched, and rewatched the video informing us of Technoblade's death, it was the first time that I had cried in a while. I didn't even watch Technoblade, but I could see how much he was loved, and that he was a genuinely good person.
I'm not too familiar with Technoblade, but I saw his father's message and it was very heartwarming. It's sickening that these people are using a dead man's name to make money.
I'm a huge Techno fan, so seeing people milk his death for views is soul-crushing. Especially when there's people out there who're making genuine tributes 'cause they love his content and love him. I genuinely hate how people are so eager to exploit a person's death and his grieving audience for money.
In February of this year, one of my college friends was murdered on her way to my house. Her untimely passing was absolutely heartbreaking. When I found out about Techno earlier this month, I was heartbroken for him and his family and friends and what they must be going through. Losing someone who was in your life very often leaves you feeling like you've lost a piece of yourself, and every moment without them in any situation they should be in with you creates a void nothing can fill. Anyone who's lost someone they love in their lives knows this. These people profiting off of his death are either psychopaths/sociopaths, soulless, or just plain corrupt. My university actually trying to support my friend's parents and put out their own tributes to her and her memory were still sometimes hurtful to those of us who truly knew her because it was a constant reminder that she was gone. That said, I also understood that they were doing it to honor her memory. If the school were to make profits from her death, the people in charge of that would be disgusting human beings. Here on the internet, it's no different. These people preying on viewers, and Techno's friends, family, and his memory, are deplorable for using and manipulating someone's image while he's not even here to defend himself. I hope he truly is resting in peace in a beautiful Minecraft house in the sky, and I can only hope that these reprehensible people get what they deserve.

It happened when the news of Techno's cancer first broke, and it happened again when he passed. It's exploitative and gross as fuck. i have a step brother who passed away a few years back and when he died his own mother started a go-fund-me-page or whatever its called to get money for him "giving into his abuse after years of a strong fight" just to make clear she isnt my mom my mom is married with my stepbrothers dad and about his "abuse" thats all a lie she lied about her own dead kid just to make some quick cash and she has been lying about her kids and my family for years but i thought she would finally shut up after his death because i cant take any more shit my brother just died he was my best friend but no she did this and then kept going with her attacks against my family and tried to make a profit off of his death by using lies

Techno really liked your videos Charlie, he mentioned it on Ludwigs stream once. The circumstances are tragic and miserable, but knowing him I’m sure he’d get a huge kick out of you making a whole video about him. He was a really sweet and profound dude who had a lot of impact on a lot of people and cared about his viewers so genuinely; As much as he probably would’ve curled up and been embarrassed from all the actually affectionate attention, everyone talking about how good of a guy he was and how much they loved him, I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. I had never cried during a youtube video before So Long Nerds. It's scarry, not even sad, that some people just see a big bag of cash rather than a father grieving for his dead son; a guy that touched so many lives, not only through youtube, but by getting hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity.
To bring a lighter note to this, it is clear that Techno knew that his possible death would generate a lot of attention. If you see his new merch drop, it features a variety of clothes with "gg ez 1999-2022" written on it, with all of the proceeds going to charity for research into the type of cancer he succumbed to. I think he made this merch have this tone to it on purpose. He even made remarks that he could have click baited this situation more in the first video where he revealed his ailment (less than a year ago...). Though what is happening is disrespectful as all hell, I know if Technoblade was here, he would laugh at these guys and not even care. That being said, I hate people who exploit tragedies like this, I personally was a big Techno fan and I thought he was going to recover when he made that second video on his recovery. I was heartbroken when I saw the news, I along with millions of other fans broke down crying, he really was an inspiration to many. Seeing this happen so bluntly, where people lie to gain views, makes my blood boil. never knew anything about the guy, but that last video posted on his channel made me sob like a baby, and i never cry. he sounds like an amazing dude, hearing all the good he's done. yea, i think he's left behind a great legacy in such little time, dude was so young but he reached so many people it's NUTS. but fuck cancer fr, i've lost so much family to cancer it really does get under my skin, know that i'll get it too eventually; it's jarring to even think of having cancer, i can't even imagine how he felt, especially being in a position where you have an audience of millions. even while having it, he still kept up trying to make people happy literally until the end, that's seriously admirable, it really gives me chills. sorry u lost someone u admired, but the great thing about the internet is that we can always go back and watch all he's done, his body isn't here anymore but his presence and memory is eternal :D

I was never a diehard techno fan but I watched him occasionally and he seemed like a really amazing guy. As soon as I heard he passed I was very disheartened, especially because I knew right as the video came up that there’d be countless videos trying to milk his death for their own revenue and gain. And I knew instantly it would be a jacksepticeyes father situation.
This happens all the time. There was a Rock Band in Canada called "The Tragically Hip" that had a pretty good following. The lead singer, Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, no way to cure it. So for the fans that supported them through the years they decided to have a farewell concert tour so that the band and the fans could come together one last time. But some miserable shit stained human beings used bots to buy up the tickets the instant they went on sale. They then tried to resell them at 3 or 4 times their original price. They figured that you'd pay the extra money to see Downie one last time while they made a lot of money off of a dying man.
Techno's passing was honestly really hard on me, I was watching his videos for a while. It was also the first time a youtuber i watched had passed away. I was honestly in denial, basically going through the 5 stages of grief and all. Well, few days after the internet found out he had passed away, I saw a video where someone was saying he was allegedly homophobic and racist?? With what looked like pretty photoshopped images and the comments were all saying "wow I felt sad but now i don't" "he deserved it" "never paying respects for someone like this". The way people were just switching up so fast is scary. The fact that there was barely any proof and the fact people believe everything and anything they see on TikTok is just SAD and fucking messed up. The shit people were saying in those comments made me fucking ill I swear. I also feel like the creator of the video shouldve waited a while, since they made the video a couple days after we found out. Like jeez, his family is mourning and youre gonna make an exposing video right after his death? Honestly, I don't know if the accusations were true but either way. rest in peace techno. dont know why i typed all of this out, just a rant 😅😅
As someone who lost their dad to cancer in 2019, I know for a fact that if his death was ever milked for views, or anything in that matter, both me and my close family would be absolutely devastated, even 3 years after the fact.

Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

My Grandpa died of cancer I was absolutely devastated. I understand how Technoblades family feels and I just cannot imagine having my family member, who just passed away, be exploited for money. When Tecnoblade’s dad announced his death I couldn’t believe how sad I was. I spent the next 5 days watching that video and thinking about it as I couldn’t get over how such a kind person died so young. I never watched Technoblades content, nothing against him I'm just not a Minecraft fan, but I'm genuinely sad to see his death exploited like this. Even without his charity, that alone is an achievement for an influencer today.

It’s really eye opening how far these people will go for clicks. I still remember that this same exact thing happened to Kobe’s Bryant’s passing as well. People have literally turned into vultures, just looking for a death of a famous person to happen, then milking dozens of videos about that death to get loads of money. One of my favorite CZcams CCs was asked to make a TechnoBlade portrait and he said that he wouldn't do it because he didn't want to be seen as someone who's milking the death of him. So he asked to learn some stuff about him and the things he has done to inspire other people. An incredible amount of integrity from him, and I respect him for it. Edit: he also said that he didn't know anything about him and never watched him so he didn't want to be disingenuous.
I saw that too! The community post made me really happy on it's own, but the comments made me legitimately fight off tears. I doubted there was much overlap in the viewer bases, but people said such kind and heartfelt things. Things like this are a nice reminder that the internet isnt all bad
I saw these everywhere with titles like "Wilbur REACTS to Techno Death" and I was so disappointed, it was like within hours of his death. Like man.... he fucking died. Are you not grieving? And the worst part is I rarely use twitch and I don't have the attention span for streams sully so clip channels are useful for me here. I can often stand the click bait to an extent, because even if it's annoying its just like. Some weird dramatic way to joke about something Tommy said, so I don't really worry about it. But now they're all over my recommended videos where they're trying to profit off of this guy's death, and the worst part is I've had to actually give a few views because I don't have another way to see what his friends say on the matter. I fucking hate it. I was never happy with these channels before but now it's just a disease across the dsmp fandom that is gonna be so hard to get rid of because we just let it happen :///

When I watched, and rewatched the video informing us of Technoblade's death, it was the first time that I had cried in a while. I didn't even watch Technoblade, but I could see how much he was loved, and that he was a genuinely good person.

In February of this year, one of my college friends was murdered on her way to my house. Her untimely passing was absolutely heartbreaking. When I found out about Techno earlier this month, I was heartbroken for him and his family and friends and what they must be going through. Losing someone who was in your life very often leaves you feeling like you've lost a piece of yourself, and every moment without them in any situation they should be in with you creates a void nothing can fill. Anyone who's lost someone they love in their lives knows this. These people profiting off of his death are either psychopaths/sociopaths, soulless, or just plain corrupt. My university actually trying to support my friend's parents and put out their own tributes to her and her memory were still sometimes hurtful to those of us who truly knew her because it was a constant reminder that she was gone. That said, I also understood that they were doing it to honor her memory. If the school were to make profits from her death, the people in charge of that would be disgusting human beings. Here on the internet, it's no different. These people preying on viewers, and Techno's friends, family, and his memory, are deplorable for using and manipulating someone's image while he's not even here to defend himself. I hope he truly is resting in peace in a beautiful Minecraft house in the sky, and I can only hope that these reprehensible people get what they deserve.

I had never cried during a youtube video before So Long Nerds. It's scarry, not even sad, that some people just see a big bag of cash rather than a father grieving for his dead son; a guy that touched so many lives, not only through youtube, but by getting hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity.
To bring a lighter note to this, it is clear that Techno knew that his possible death would generate a lot of attention. If you see his new merch drop, it features a variety of clothes with "gg ez 1999-2022" written on it, with all of the proceeds going to charity for research into the type of cancer he succumbed to. I think he made this merch have this tone to it on purpose. He even made remarks that he could have click baited this situation more in the first video where he revealed his ailment (less than a year ago...). Though what is happening is disrespectful as all hell, I know if Technoblade was here, he would laugh at these guys and not even care. That being said, I hate people who exploit tragedies like this, I personally was a big Techno fan and I thought he was going to recover when he made that second video on his recovery. I was heartbroken when I saw the news, I along with millions of other fans broke down crying, he really was an inspiration to many.
Seeing this happen so bluntly, where people lie to gain views, makes my blood boil. Though I think that if Techno were to see this, he would tell us to keep our head up and move on, and not pay attention to these commoners.

I was never a diehard techno fan but I watched him occasionally and he seemed like a really amazing guy. As soon as I heard he passed I was very disheartened, especially because I knew right as the video came up that there’d be countless videos trying to milk his death for their own revenue and gain. And I knew instantly it would be a jacksepticeyes father situation.
This happens all the time. There was a Rock Band in Canada called "The Tragically Hip" that had a pretty good following. The lead singer, Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, no way to cure it. So for the fans that supported them through the years they decided to have a farewell concert tour so that the band and the fans could come together one last time. But some miserable shit stained human beings used bots to buy up the tickets the instant they went on sale. They then tried to resell them at 3 or 4 times their original price. They figured that you'd pay the extra money to see Downie one last time while they made a lot of money off of a dying man.

Techno's passing was honestly really hard on me, I was watching his videos for a while. It was also the first time a youtuber i watched had passed away. I was honestly in denial, basically going through the 5 stages of grief and all. Well, few days after the internet found out he had passed away, I saw a video where someone was saying he was allegedly homophobic and racist?? With what looked like pretty photoshopped images and the comments were all saying "wow I felt sad but now i don't" "he deserved it" "never paying respects for someone like this". The way people were just switching up so fast is scary. The fact that there was barely any proof and the fact people believe everything and anything they see on TikTok is just SAD and fucking messed up. The shit people were saying in those comments made me fucking ill I swear. I also feel like the creator of the video shouldve waited a while, since they made the video a couple days after we found out. Like jeez, his family is mourning and youre gonna make an exposing video right after his death? Honestly, I don't know if the accusations were true but either way. rest in peace techno. dont know why i typed all of this out, just a rant 😅😅
As someone who lost their dad to cancer in 2019, I know for a fact that if his death was ever milked for views, or anything in that matter, both me and my close family would be absolutely devastated, even 3 years after the fact.

My Grandpa died of cancer I was absolutely devastated. I understand how Technoblades family feels and I just cannot imagine having my family member, who just passed away, be exploited for money. When Tecnoblade’s dad announced his death I couldn’t believe how sad I was. I spent the next 5 days watching that video and thinking about it as I couldn’t get over how such a kind person died so young. It’s really eye opening how far these people will go for clicks. I still remember that this same exact thing happened to Kobe’s Bryant’s passing as well. People have literally turned into vultures, just looking for a death of a famous person to happen, then milking dozens of videos about that death to get loads of money. i’m gonna have to admit, i did make an post a video talking about technoblade’s passing after i saw how many views and likes the videos on it got. before you say anything, i privated my video on it since i realized it was a shitty move. these youtubers actually milking his death are awful.
