Hey Pyro, couple corrections about the gastric bypass thing, first, there is no "clamp" that gets removed, the bypass means that a section of the stomach literally gets bypassed by rearranging the gastric tract, to avoid it, so you're left with a much smaller section of your stomach called the gastric pouch being used, it is not reversible. The reason people gain weight back is that this gastric pouch CAN stretch out and essentially return to the original stomach size if the patient doesn't change their habits. So, there is a failure rate, but it is relatively low at 20% the other 80% of patients do sustain the weight loss long term, which is why the surgery is still recommended by health professionals for people who have been obese for a very long time.

I was about to actually get a sleeve for myself, but chose not to since I could lose the weight naturally and I did… but sadly I put it back on again during the lockdowns in 2020.

He hasn’t necessarily fallen off, considering he migrated successfully to twitch, but it’s honestly heartbreaking to see how far his channel has fallen due to being involved in youtube groups, the views he gets now on youtube are abysmal nowadays and yet he still always uploads his edited down vods, always puts in the utmost effort to make high quality, entertaining content, and seemingly will never give up youtube. Which is all the more admirable to me as a fan of his since I was a child. I might be just a nostalgia sick fan, but I do think his case would be of great interest to you, as well as James’ perspective as a past member of groups like the creatures and cowchop who might have touched the hearts of so many fans, but also had many internal disputes and struggles. Thank you for all your great content!

When studying an individual season, 15 of the 16 contestants have regained the weight they lost. Moreover, their metabolisms were severely damaged in the process, so they are far less healthy than when they started the show. So any idiot who says "Eat less, do more." is just as qualified as a Biggest Loser trainer.
