Bit different lumping us in with Chelsea since they can seemingly sign 100 players per window and sell hotels to themselves
Exactly, they constantly look for loop holes, 8 year contracts, selling hotels and training grounds to themselves, player trading with other clubs etc. we can't even sell 1 player to Saudi for fair market value otherwise the PL come down hard on us.
The rules need a rewrite.
Have you not noticed Newcastle have been on a spending spree of ÂŁ576millionđ€in recent years while selling just ÂŁ35m.
Thatâs why financial fair play is rightly you need to sell for once.
Financial fair play has rightly made Chelsea have to sell over ÂŁ500million in recent years to carry on spending.
Boehly had to sell nearly their entire CL winning team Mendy, Rudiger, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Werner, Havertz.
And have just had to sell two academy produced full backs for ÂŁ70million Maatsen, Hall.
Now itâs Newcastle turn to sell someone if you want to carry on spending.
Newcastle fans need to stop the we havenât been allowed to spend myth.
And the itâs evil that we have to sell a Minteh to carry on spending.
Every club has to sell to carry on spending thatâs why itâs financial fair play.
Allowing Saudi Newcastle and Chelsea to just spend and never sell is what wouldnât be financial fair play.
Actually Chelsea,Monaco and Porto are the three clubs that have made more player sales in the last decade than any other team. Nothing to do with ffp.
@@Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziiz You actually neglected what we already had in the pot prior to our spending...funny that.
The thing that makes a mockery of fair ownership rules for me; take the likes of Newcastle. Where were the rules regarding fair ownership when Ashley was blatantly doing deals that only benefited Sports Direct? When he dismantled the academy and sold off players for profit, when Sports Direct was printed all over everything free of charge. Castore deal ONLY boosted Sports Direct & Mike Ashley's income not the club, the company have since said they were embarassed about how one sided that deal was. IF the PL want to put rules in place then make them fair to all not just the 4 main clubs. Questions should be asked. How are Chelsea allowed to own and sell hotels back to the owners? What does that have to do with football? How are Man U allowed to continue to buy players whilst being a billion in debt? If they get their stadium funded by us the tax payers there will be hell on. Blatant corruption, bias and favouritism towards certain clubs, I welcome Independent Football Regulation, whilst not ideal, the PL have shown us they are incapable of being fair. I think the fans should petition their clubs to vote out PSR until it can be made fair. Fans putting pressure on clubs, they have to listen and vote accordingly surely.
Sorry what is fair ownership?
â@@lilbaz8073Owners being allowed to spend the moneh they have. That's fair Ownership
@@ericengleby265 that is fair in business NOT in sport, obviously. that is fair in entertainment, NOT in sport. u wudnt be saying this if u were not the beneficiary of it.
@@jack28aug It goes on Sport and has been for years what are you talking
@@ericengleby265 make it make sense.
The fact that the premier league has created a mini deadline day in the middle of the summer forcing teams to sell players on the cheap is pretty ridiculous . And now they are threatening punishment for teams selling homegrown players with a loophole the prem created .Why canât the PSR deadline be end of summer transfer window or end of January window
Mile Ashley may have left the club in no debt, HOWEVER what Simon never seems to realise is that he never generated any revenue for the club, which is affecting the way in which we can spend now!
He used our club as a billboard for his cheap sports tat and paid the club very little, not to mention renaming the stadium! and the PL didnt look into it, he also sold the rights of the shirt to Castore on the cheap so he could get there clothes in his stores, but again the PL didnt do anything!
The PL only care if you are overfunded and not criminally underfunded! đĄ
Suck it up Jawdee boy
Could have easily gone the other way. In debt, cant pay wages, stay in champianship earning even less and spiraling down
@@junioradult6219erm yeah mate, we ended up in the championship twice under Ashley.

Tbf to Newcastle, I haven't ever heard them complain about having to sell a player before sunday. Not once have they been whining and crying. So its an odd title if im being honest.
Newcastle fans are always complaining on twitter even though theyâve seen their club go on a ÂŁ576millionđ€ spending spree in recent years while only selling ÂŁ35m.
Theyâre only having to sell a Minteh to carry on spending and theyâre ridiculously fuming.
Theyâve been brainwashed into thinking their club hasnât spent and that they have to sell an Isak or a Guimaraes.
But all they need to do is sell a Minteh this summer to carry on spending and theyâre still moaning.
Itâs ridiculous that a fanbase of a club thatâs gone on a spending spree of ÂŁ576million in recent years while only selling ÂŁ35m is moaning.

The quality of these shows goes down when they relocate. Quality of content and even sound goes down. I wish they had stayed in the Studios back in England. Take a day off and go watch a match live if you want.
Take a day off to watch what games?
I have not heard Chelsea crying, only you Simon
How about ALL clubs stop paying ridiculous fees and wages!
It's out of control.
How many clubs are financially mismanaged?! Too many.
And it's stupid
Especially as the Premier league clubs are making more money than ever and are still losing money.
For the record, Newcastle aren't "whining and crying about PSR", they're just cracking on with it without saying or doing anything otherwise.

â@@ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziizYou've been called out, Sunshine. What are you going to do?
Its just the media who claim Newcastle need to sell before the end of the month. The club have stated on numerous occasions that they take ffp guidelines very seriously, and work strictly within these guidelines.
For a start the information about certain clubs being in debt before the end of the financial end of year should not be made public knowledge. It puts them in a place where they could lose millions.
Newcastle aren't complaining facts are Almiron and Wilson are more or less passed their best and should be sold for better quality
We dont need to sell them though.. we are simply selling them to justify more spending on this ridiculous model of buying potential.
No idea where Simon gets the idea that Newcastle are whining. The club have said nothing other than what DE said that all clubs will have to buy and sell in order to survive within PSR. He wasnât whining merely stating the reality for the 14. The 6 know nothing will touch them with Dicky M in charge of PL.
The PL, led no doubt by the âB6â, changed the rules as soon as Newcastle were bought from MA. We have operated within those rules and havenât done too bad up until now. We hit the CL way before we expected. Now we have to build the squad to match the ambition. Nobody except you media bods expect anything different. If we lose Minteh because of the rules, it hurts. Take the deduction and keep the player. Allow owners to spend what they want so long as it is equity they put into the business and not debt. RA wrote of ÂŁ1bn in loans when he was forced to sell, where is the comeback from that? The 115 will never see the light of day. This âcaseâ CFG have brought now is just the cover for the PL and MC to work a way to kick it all into the long grass. Corruption smells hang around the league more and more. They need to get better odour suppressors before drops them all in it.
The whole point of these PSR rules is so that no one can spend enough money to dethrone City. It's going to take at least another 5 years under the current system for the richest club in world history to build the squad able to do it. Meanwhile, we'll just have to suffer through a decade of City titles.
City definitely got in just in time so it's ironic we're probably the biggest beneficiaries of the rules we're now trying to remove. The league is simply shooting itself in the foot with PSR - there's no need to have more stringent rules than EUFA use.
Everton been foul of PSR & FFP
And sold our best players below there value
10:13 Let's just take a moment and bask in Simon's change-of-opinion about PSR. Yes, lad, rules dictated from up high to assist the red clowns was always about protectionism, to protect from competition through arbitary legislation to benefit the few.
Whoâs crying anyway?? The only person crying is Simon Jordan who canât get over the fact he lost his gig as the head off art attack.
The Irony is the these rules which are allegedly designed or brought in to make clubs more sustainable is they are more likely to cause clubs to become less competitive and ultimately successful having to sell players to balance finances.

Another misleading clickbait headline. Jordan doesn't SLAM Newcastle or Chelsea or any other club. In fact, he says he agrees that ambitious clubs without a lot of debt should be able to spend more than the current rules allow and shouldn't be forced into selling players.
Chelsea isn't whining and crying over the PSR rules, they have shown themselves to be the best management in the PL in their ability to manipulate and find the loop holes in the rules. Other teams may resent it but that's too bad if they need their ownership to be brought kicking and screaming into the twenty first century or to employ the right lawyers and financial analysts to give their teams maximum leverage.
No Simon, thereâs more than the 2 prices you mention, thereâs a 3rd, and thatâs the one other clubs think you need to comply with the rules out of desperation
Selling one of your best players isnât always a step backwards .
It allows you to then bring in 2-3 top players for the sacrifice of 1.
Liverpool did it with coutinho
Signed Alison and VVD with that money .
Which then changed the clubs fortunes .
Isak is injury prone even if he is a top player .
Just look at a top decent replacement from
Portugal, Spain , Germany , South America even Holland .
Your scouts should have a list of players that fit that data
It be difficult for that small community club in Manchester complying with PSR đ€
Talksport sack that absolute space cadet Jordan plz ...
As long as people watch, they'll keep him.
If you want to get rid of him. Stop clicking on the vids. Nobody forced you to.
Simon tries to avoid smuggery?
But DO they know the rules as some aspect of them seems to change at each meeting of the clubs? And what numpty thought it was a good idea to have the PSR cycle start/stop in the middle of a transfer window? Are any of these clowns actually business people?
Unfortunately Simon has turned in to a vulture broadcaster, such a shame.
Whilst the rules had faults.. the clubs abused it trying to find every which way they could around..
Hence why you need rules in the first place and strict ones otherwise the clubs will keep looking for every tiny thing they can.
Iâd rather take and laugh at another deduction than sell branthwaite not arsed about onana UTFT
So having genuine concerns over PSR is whining?
