I really hope you guys like this week's video. I know it's not exactly a true diy video; but I just wanted to share my findings. I personally would have loved to watch this kind of video when I was younger. It would have helped a lot. Haha.
I do hope that at least one person gets use out of it, because honestly I don't think it's a popular thing to put sheets up as curtains, and actually have them look nice! ;)

Perfect! Like you I'm poor and need more privacy. I like the look n texture of the IKEA. So I got both n used the sheets to line the IKEA. With clip rings to hold them together and create pleates. They look SO high-end I can't believe it! Thank you thank you! 😗😗😗
I'm not the only person who uses WM sheets as curtains?!? I've done this on about three homes and it's so affordable and looks so good!

Hi there! I'm a new subscriber, and just stumbled upon your channel this morning! First off, you're videos are fun to watch, and informative! I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to curtains, and this idea is very helpful! I think curtains are stupid expensive, and usually not worth the money they want for them! Another idea is to use pretty tablecloths for curtains, and hang them just as you did with the rings. We bought a house a year ago, and I love to repurpose things, DIY, and decorate on the cheap (but looks expensive), haha! Thanks!

This was super helpful! I’m was going back and forth on sheets or something else for my bedroom curtains and you totally made my decision! Sheets are my choice . Dog was super cute!
*sigh* Wish I had seen this video before now. I had a hard time finding the right curtains for my living room after repainting it. Great idea. I too like to have curtains that are less sheer. Thanks for the idea for future DIY's.
IKEA does have the thicker white curtains, lot of privacy . 2 panel for 20.00 yes 96 long x 56 wide. Had to get it alter 30.00 for 4 panels .

Thank you for this idea, my daughter's room is so cold and I want to winterize it with the plastic on the windows and then I'm going to put a sheet as a curtain, on top of that.

I had several white flat sheets, purchased from thrift stores, and I used them as curtains. If people looked closely, they’d see that I literally tore them in half, as well as to the length I wanted. No sewing involved! Lol! Until I recently decided to make them into tab top curtains. Then I did use left over sheet fabric to make tabs for the tops of them. Btw, I used sheets and made all curtains this way for my entire house.
i was considering using drop cloths but then i'd have to bleach them to be white which is too much of a hassle for me right now. Plus it wouldn't be that much cheaper than actual curtains. While I think the drop cloth fabric will look better i really can't say no to a cheap flat sheet for that price. Great video. Thanks!

Another option is Big lots.....They have nice fabric drapes : 2 panels for $10 to $15. I have decided to use a pair as shower curtains out side of a white curtain...
