WHAT IF the police gain the power to check your insurance policy to see if you have declared your modifications? We would all be fucked. On the spot fines and so on! No more tuned cars on the road unless you got deep pockets or a car that is quick without any mods.

I drove a Mk6 GTI with 460bhp for a day when VAGTech had my Mk7.5 R in for some tuning... it was mental! 460bhp through the front wheels made it absolutely bonkers. The amount of torque steer and wheel spinning was crazy.
Wow, that car was tuned well. To get all the power down on just the front wheels, very impressive 👍🏼😍

Love these older body styles. Small, stubby looking , super sporty looking and inexpensive to buy. They are also available with DSG, love them.

Uniroyal rainsport are really good tyres for the price range. ... I've had them on my octavia VRS for years. never get slippage in the rain when breaking hard .....

The ED:30 was the best anniversary-style golf. Standard 230bhp..KO4-S-Turbo same as the 2007/2009 Audi: S3..You'd only need a Custom-Exhaust/Carbon-Induction Kit/Wavtrac-Diff/Auto-Tech-Fuel-Pump/Wagner-Intercooler/Recirculating-DV/Anti-Roll-Bars/Coilovers & AP or REVO Stage 1 Map..and you're good for 280/320 bhp all day long....
Ed30 will make 300 brake with no mods. With the mods you listed more like 370 brake 👌

The Ed 30 is quite rare now tbh, have a look on auto trader quite expensive to buy now. This one was rapid love the tailights too!

Awesome car. You can buy one like that for about $4K (fully stock) with about 130K miles on the odometer. I am really liking these cars. I have a Miata which is a bunch of FUN.
My last car was a 2nd gen Miata, loads of fun! I just bought a MK5 GTIand am restoring it a little at a time. Love these cars.

Was looking at those tail lights for my GTi, really nice looking set, what put me off them is they have no rear fog light, which is not street legal in the UK, it's a twin reverse light set up instead designed for Europe and USA.

How much hp can these cars handle?
Don't know how people likes GTI's with 400+ hp, I tried to set my golf R with 360hp with front wheel drive and it was just unusable, you could barely step your foot down, and that's with semislicks and LSD xD.
It must change tires quite often doing burnouts in every corner haha
There was a white eddy on MKV owners page 550bhp+ I would like to see you review that one or a guy called Ric he build a r32 supercharged with meth in his garage at home from a eBay kit was a nice clean build
