I had 10mm front and 13mm rear spacers on mine and sat perfect

Great job man!!! The anti lift kit makes, obviously with the new suspension, a huge diferent of handling. In my Gti I changed only the control arms front powerflex bushings and it seems like a new car. I love BBS edition 30 wheels. Waiting new upgrades!!

Crazy as the same thing has happens to my mk5. Same part control arm too so parts on order as we speak. A few years later but great video 👍

Iv just spent today undersealing my rear subframe , now I've seen his car and the fact its more rusty than mine i feel a little better
nice upgrade ... gonna do the same plus front knuckle from passat B6 too on my R32
The ones ive gone for are 18mm h&rs on the rears and its just perfect 👌
Watching these makes me want a mk5 gti even more, I’m saving up for one but man is the insurance and road tax a killer, a ed30 would be nice but I’m not that rich lol

Have you noticed any difference in tyre wear using the anti lift kit? I have a meg rs250 non cup and very interested in the anti lift kits ! Wheel hop is bad when damp

Looking to go for a set of these BC coilovers for my ed30 how do they behave on the road? Current kit is a pedlars shocks and spring set up and is too harsh.

What have you got planned for the brakes, it was the first thing I done to my Ed30 before anything else, the stock brakes are bad!

I wonder how yoy got off the front bolt on the control arm on the drivers side, the dsg transmisson is blocking to get out that bolt...
Would be interesting to see some 0-60 mph and 60-130 mph (or 100-200 km/h) times :-)
Has anybody done an exhaust conversion on a mk5 with the one pipe on either side? I'd love to see it, think it'd look absolutely sick

Get some fluid film sprayed on those new suspension components! They will then continue to look like new! Fluid film is amazing stuff! Just clean and reapply every couple a years. All those new parts will still look brand new!

Snapped bolts in the subframe was the worst experience I had with my 2+ eddy and thats after replacing a cracked piston lol
My is 2005 and it is without corrosion under the vehicle! I see that ed30 have a lot rust on chassis!

Intake, but since having the hybrid it makes more noise than stock K04

Didn’t want to take the subframe off initially, if I knew we were gonna have that bit off anyway I would have got one also

Golf 5 and subframes can be a nightmare if not fettled properly The centre section should always be supported when removing attached parts
