The Gondola is an important and very historic relic, analogous to an old wooden roller coaster. It’s an iconic feature at one of the oldest ski resorts in America, which adds tons of nostalgia. I’m quite thankful that it’s part of the personality of Sugar Bowl.
Fun! Sugar bowl rocks- a little small but lots to offer. Crow's is great- too bad you did not get to ride it.
Putting christmas tree above lincoln is criminal. Even disney tbh. Heres my ranking (not including gondola and village tow) -> 9. White pine, 8. Nob hill, 7. Christmas tree, 6. Jerome, 5. Judah, 4. Summit, 3. Crows, 2. Disney, 1. Lincoln. Christmas tree is literally just the lift I use to get back to Judah side and even then I use the run off of Lincoln.
That's cool how you mentioned the T-bar during the Gondola clip.
Thanks. I knew I was gonna talk about the lift, so I zoomed in on it since I wasn’t planning to ride it anyways.
It’s not a t bar lift it’s a button lift
Yo which is the best indie at tahoe? Sugar Bowl, Sierra at Tahoe, or Mount Rose?
C'mon! The shaky gondola adds character to the experience :)
I wonder why the Summit lift wasn't open when you were there, maybe lack of snow?
The snow looked fine, there may not have been enough staff.
@@TwinSkiingLiftsRides They only open on the holiday weekends.
I m kind of wondering why you would be so focused on the speed of the lifts ?? I m more concerned with the terrain they access personally, Mt Lincoln is the best for that hands down, and steepest, cliffs etc. Not sure why but Summit chair is hardly ever open, I ve hiked that terrain more than i ve ridden the chair
I use lift speed as a factor to determine how fast you can get a lap in. Since Mt. Lincoln Express was running slow, it was kinda hard to get as many laps in as I wanted to since I only had one day at Sugar Bowl.
Too crazy-
In my opinion, Nob Hill is worse than the gondola ride.
Understandable. It’s slow, and only serves greens. But honestly, I would rather ride a slow beginner lift than a rough gondola.
i totally disagree with you on your number 1
