Got my previous channel (where I was subbed to you) deleted by youtube and just now realized I was missing something while watching a video about Harley Benton guitars. Ah, Max Solo Music! *subscribing*
It's possible get much more freakout results if you get into electronics and start to build your own circuits to make crazy things with guitar's output. The usual pedals and processors are quite limited conceptually of how guitar should sound because of lack of imagination & commercial interests of developers, and modular synths are also fall in their own traditional conceptions. I know this from my experience of working on that stuff with my friend in the 80-ties, who was into electronics... When you are not trying to get some pleasant sounds, suddenly electronics start to sound interesting and authentic, and it shows the real nature of it's components and electricity that runs through it

Nice work, I've seen a few videos where people do this with modular hardware, and quite often it doesn't sound great! Some nice sounds here though, step filters and also phasers are one of my favourite modular effects. I use free software instead, if anyone wants to try this without buying expensive Eurorack stuff 😉

never saw you talk about this HSS Fusion model on your channel. How does it compare to the HSH Fusion, can we have one of your detailed reviews about it? I have the HSH Fusion and incorporated all your crazy mods (that was the second time I ever soldered, first time was a pickup swap in a Squier Strat the day before). So I can confirm it's doable even for newbies, and it improved my understanding of guitar quite a lot. So thanks very much for all your work!
Hey Ralf! Thanks for your comment. I'm happy to hear you've conquered the mods! Speaking of the Fusion-III, I have it for a while. It definitely has some differences. Two most obvious are the tonewood and the neck pickup. It does sound slightly different to Fusion-II while maintaining the same feel. And HB really improved satin finishes! I will have some video on it sooner or later :)

Did you fixed the problem with this guitar? How i can remember, the tremolo wasn't returning to the zero point
Yep, slightly enlarged the trem cavity with a file - quick and easy fix. Didn't have time to address the nut though so the 1st string still has a couple of weird resonances
