Played next to the neck with middle-high strength. Just neck pickup activated
- Gear Sound:
Added some bass and lots of mid freqs. Not much treble, or even cut a bit. Added high gain or some distortion pedal might work too
- About The Song:
Classic song and nice to play along to. Probably the hard part is getting the main riff well. Some stamina consumed also. Transcribed from studio version (original) and positions corrected with old live videos.

I am a HUGE Black Sabbath fan. I'm talking sitting alone in my room at 16 years old learning to play the guitar parts for their first four albums. This is absolutely, hands down the most accurate, authentic performance of Paranoid I have ever heard in my life. @@blunttime1089 if this thing is frustrating when you play, then it's perfect exercise for fingers and your brain tempo. Don't let yourself down, keep practice going on.
@@blunttime1089 Take it slow at first and then work it up to tempo. You can do it, its just some work to get it right is all. Everything Geezer ever played is achievable and he'll teach you a lot about rock and metal bass.
I'm french(excuse me if i make english mistakes hé hé)but i want to say that we always care about lead guitar in rock music,and often we forget the bass,but without the base drum-bass guitar,rock music lacks of depth.
Agreed, I was listening to The Four Horsemen last night and was listening to the bass drum sounding like a horse galloping, at first I thought it was a bass guitar but it sounded to repetitive musically, it didn't sound like something that could change audio pitch so I singled it out to be the bass drum. Then with bass guitar I listened and realized how flat and boring the song would be without bass, the bass adds much more variety and "flavor" to the music, it adds much more feel and in a way it kind of rings out in music a tiny bit longer than the guitar
