- Kentucky's historic Octagon Hall has a dark reputation. Whispers of paranormal activity haunt its rooms. Everything from seven-foot shadow figures to Bigfoot being sighted on the grounds makes this museum very intriguing. Kag and Ali went to find out what it was all about.

It was definitely a highlight for Kag and me lol. I guess with the living they can control the situation... not so much with the supernatural. Personally, I would be the other way around!

Seems like a very active place. In several ways. Only investigation I’ve ever seen where the police showed up! And four of them! The tension in your voices asking “who’s at the door?” - at 11pm! Nice use of the CCTV links to cover that. A Bigfoot sighting would’ve been lovely icing on the cake!

There are fewer than 100 octogonal houses left in the US today, but there are definitely more than three.
I wonder if he meant in the State, or is it County over there? I just looked, and they apparently weren't a thing in Kentucky. I do have another on my list that I would like to visit. They are so intriguing with their shape. 😊

Wow this was so good! The activity was really interesting, the cops were hilarious and adorable(As Americans, we know they’re just like everyone else, mainly good but the few bad spoil the bunch) and the basement was kind of compelling. I felt close to tears almost. And you are PERFECT examples how to use apps, just another tool to help but the responses were spot on! I loved this! 💕✌🏽
The cops were our highlight of the night. What we see from overseas to seeing the everyday officers, was refreshing. They were definitely a credit to the department. It was so awesome that they wanted to join in too.

Well done in the humidity and insects. I don't think I'd keep my cool, get very short. Those "boys in Beige" are so interested in what goes on in the paranormal interaction, they probably gre w up with all the stories, didn't want to leave too quickly. I think the spirits of the war saw the guns and that they were law. But, most investigators say they are afraid of the living not the dead when they're investigating ! I think it hit you both that you were remote, and the fact the police showed up there has been break ins. Just take comfort they would patrolling the area. Melbourne does have an octagon building transformed by "The Block" to apartment buildings
I have to admit it was reassuring to know they were checking on the place, and they were so lovely. I didn't realise Melbourne had one too.

Hi girls I remember seeing this octagon house on an episode of American pickers. There were two lady's there on the day they visited and they told the story of the little girl who's dress caught on fire. There were a few orbs one at 43.33 in the top box 3rd across moving downward and another at 46.57 top middle box orb moving upward. So much amazing history and a wonderful location. I had one of those little games with the little metal balls in them and for debunking sake i'd chock it up to gravity or the balls haven't settled yet. mine used to fall all the time.
I honestly can't say it wasn't, and it certainly did cross our minds too. No doubt that discussion will make it into a future 'reaction to our own video' episode 😂.
What made it a little curious, and why we left it in, was it had been turned over much earlier than you saw in the episode. I edited out a lot of non-happening stuff in between, so it had been sitting for a while, possibly giving the balls time to do that. They are also small plastic balls, so they do not have the weight shift of the older, heavier metal ones. Lastly, Kag has used it several times a week for the last couple of years on investigations and tours, and to my knowledge, the balls have never dropped on their own before... or since (this was last year). But... I fully agree with you, we can't rule out natural settling as the cause, and we all know the Universe is full of coincidences and that could just have been one of them.
I think it will be worth it for us to experiment more with it. Maybe I can have it on my desk and keep turning it every now and again throughout the day for a week and then log how many times it does or doesn't do it. Thank you for encouraging ideas and discussion ❤️❤️

It is interesting because that name comes through, nearly every investigation.
I love that place. It’s built really really well. My great grandfather was from Bowling Green, Kentucky. The confederate and the union they both did exactly the same thing to the women. It wasn’t just the union doing it. Greater investigation, ladies.
It is such a wonderful, historic place. I think in reality with any war, there would be atrocities on both sides sadly.
