92-94 home will always be my favourite. The 04-06 home is an underrated one. I think that deserved an honourable mention.
Yeah I loved the “total 90” era Nike did with the swoosh up by the collar but I don’t think United’s was the best from that range. I didn’t like the blue away with the bit of red

I got both the blue away and red 99/00 shirts the pinnacle of it’s shirts imo always wished I had the Giggs white one aswell.

My faverouite is 100% the 99 treble shirt oh it’s a beauty! I recently orderd the new United kit it reminds me of the Vodafone one with the new snap dragon sponsor!
No 94-96 home shirt with the stadium on it? That 'red laces' shirt is ranked very low - it's so beautiful, I nearly cried. The 'kung fu' shirt is the best of the away numbers.

Great video Rys, I don't agree with all, but some good choices. I still think the 92-95 home kit is my favorite, I think because it was the start of a 20 year period of dominance. I've been filling up my collection of vintage kits from jjsport, but I've gone for some long sleeve versions for certain players. The green and yellow with Cantona, the 99 Champions League with Beckham, the 99' home with Scholes and the " kung foo" kit but with Keane.
I have 99 Giggs black and white, but the shirt sleeves feel wrong lol. I do love the new 3rd kit, and will buy the player version from JJ. I find they fit and feel better.
7 of your list would have been on mine, but I'd add last year's roses , and the 3rd kit to the list, with the 92 red.

My favourite shirt, which i still wear is the long sleeved blue nike champions league one with Vodafone embossed in silver ...mine has no 9 ..choccy (mclair) on the back❤ it.
The United 12/13 checked home shirt was a tribute to the textile
Industry which Manchester was built upon in Victorian era. Extra fact, United used a picture of a Oldham to promote the shirt in it’s tribute not realising it wasn’t Manchester 😂

My favourite is the 1994-1996 home shirt, classic red, made by Umbro, sponsored by Sharp and Old Trafford in the print. Shirt worn by a lot of legends too.

That black shirt from the 98/99 season only got worn in two games. Shame, but the white is a much better design. Random but when I asked my wife who has no nostalgia for football kits which of the 99 kits she prefers, she went with the domestic easily.

86-88 Blue kit is one of my faves. I was born in 90's but I love it so much. The black 08 one with the red bars on the back is very nice. I'd love to just buy a load of retro United kits.

Current era: I really liked the white Adidas from 16/17 and the tartan away from the 13/14 season
Past era: Really liked the blue 02/03 one (the one they drew 2-2 with arsenal at Highbury that helped them win the league)
The 1999 Champions League Final Shirt was the very first Shirt I had as a kid I had another one for my Birthday a few Years ago 😀

I'm surprised there was no mention of the one-of-a-kind reversible white/gold away shirt from 01/02 season
I should have mentioned it as it was hanging over those white gates in the middle of my shed 😅 weighed a ton though didn’t it, literally 2 shirts sown together

@@RysFootyParadise What about retro 50's , 60's tops , like George Best's MU jersey , 1968 ? Or you could look at Best's team jerseys from the period . The USA and Brazil Olympic team styles in the late 50's too , I think they're always cool. Also you could tour north America and Mexico looking at innovative stadiums . I mean , as long as you are guided by a true local fan .

17/18 Home kit was decent
Sorry mate but the 07/08 AIG home shirt is the best jersey they have ever had, especially with the silver champions league print.
Plus the away tops that season, that was a great season with all 3 kits
@@stefanfrancis2040 if we didn’t win the champions league in it I don’t think anyone would mention it, I think it’s basically a plain red shirt with very little dealing 😅 but it’s age isn’t it - growing up in the 90s to me that was the golden era but the younger ones are nostalgia towards their time

The new Man Utd shirt is the worst in its history. Best are the 3 from 93/95 era. home, black and green/gold. Undefeated.
Looks are bit like, dare I say it, the Liverpool one a few years back with that pinky colour trim
