There is a lot of difference in the attitudes of MSV and Young Raja (Ilaya Raja). We had met MSV at his residence some 12 years ago. What an unassuming down to earth character! We fell at his feet (I was 67 then). MSV was a swayamboo, the Goddess of Music having embraced him with music. Young Raja has been fed with nothing but arrogance. Raja does not deserve my respect at that level as a human being.

The songs referred to as duplication are carnatic based Ragas.The same raga used in Hindi movies is used by Ilayaraja for his compositions.Thats why it is looking as duplication.Ilaya Raja Sir has indepth knowledge in all kinds of music and he has proved his capacity.No need for him to copy others tune.His Thiruvasagam symphony stands as testimony for his musical talent
