The reason the game changes their names is because it refers to them by their titles. So in the beginning, your wizard is an Adept, the doctor is a bloodletter, the knight is a Dame/Sir, etc. Their names will change as their titles change when they get promotions. (Sorry Satch, nothing you can do about it).
Some helpful tips: In combat, you can click on the sims fighting (not sure if yourself or the other) and do a special move to try to do major damage to the opponent. You can cancel the fight interaction to surrender. Wizards use energy to cast spells. If you are having trouble, check their moodlets for negative energy levels. Threatening someone who owns a sword, like the guards, knight or spy, or leaders of another country, results in a swordfight. Also when they catch you pickpocketing. If you are stuck on a quest, hover on your quest requirement next to your character face in the character selection menu, it sometimes has details in it
Listen, I am in love with this game to the point of creating every single wattpad scenario possible or making a gay army but I hate, *HATE* the daily task. It's so repetitive and quite boring. Especially the task where you have to harass the guild master or whatever in the forest.
😂😂 "Sic a Parrot on...." I pick flowers, mine, and/or fish along the way. And, if possible, hunt or patrol. (These give pretty good Hero leveling points for flowers/mining/hunting) BC its a long walk for a few minutes to daily. Also, its best to stagger dailies for the 7hr "Task Complete" buff whenever possible. NOTE: Failing isnt bad if you stack a ton of buffs to compensate the lost. On "Hard Workers" all my Sims are 10+ with 12 QPs remaining.
@@TehAnshiTunes I hate walking all the way to the forest to harass them. Can't they just go into the castle or something? Also my sims have alcoholic flaw lmao. So sometimes the debuff combined with not finishing task made the bar halfway red.
@@blameitondannyPICK WILDFLOWERS Go fishing. Make it count. Blood Moss x4, from wildflowers, make a good brew; seeds x4 are much better than gruel. Plus selling wild flowers and grass is FREE SIMOLEONS! 😂 I am still first quest with Physician. 250+ Blood Moss, Platinum Quest, Almost level 6 just pickin flowers and keepin up. Note: Still leveling in quest.

You just need to make sure your sims are happy, and you'll have a higher success chance of things. Have them take a bath, look in a mirror, and use the chamber pot, and it should be enough to keep them in the green part of the bar and everything will go easier for you.
I have a routine: Bath Mirror Chamber Pot Wash hands Warm hands Eat Gaze at object (for sims that get this buff) Im usually set for HOURS. NOTE: For Jacobians, Ill do a few hours of the Watcher buff first, when possible, then pick back up after my routine to keep it active.
@@TehAnshiTunes Taking the Whale Ate My Parents trait helps too, because you can go down and yell at the ocean for a pretty good boost. And you could hunt whale for really good meat to eat.
Satch for your missing spell, sometimes you need to go to the village and there will be a quest related item/book at the shop that will teach you it. You can also always furnish yours sims residences from build mode - eg you could give the wizard a bed and the spy a bath or any other items. Also don't let your sims eat gruel! It's always a negative moodlet that can be avoided. (unless they're a glutton in which case they will like gruel.) It seems like you might have realised this but just in case.
OMG! You want crazy? So when I was playing the other day, I fed the pitbeast, her name is Griselda btw, and I was going to do it again and I accidentally jumped in. The thing is... little hearts came out of the pit... what was that thing doing to my character? I don't know! it was so cool... But you get random chance cards for items you can't get any other way, I found out after looking up about hearts coming from the pit.
OH! Wizards use metals too, not just plants. I forgot they don't have a bed! I just always move his equipment downstairs and put one in the upper room. My wizards don't ever get along with people so they don't need double beds, lol. I also have them use each others beds when sleepy, so the wizard will take a name in the Monarch's bed and so on. I have them ALL use the monarch's bath on a regular basis. I haven't done this quest yet so I have nothing on the spell not working. Fun stuff? I had a watcher achievement be finished autonomously by a character I hadn't played yet! How cool is that?
If you want to reach platinum quest reward and get more build points, you need to; 1. Keep your sim happy. 2. Slow down the progress and only do the tasks once the "behind on quest" mood pops up. Use the time to gather ingredients and level up your sim. Some quests require higher lv sims. Go adventuring, dig treasures, get collectables. A high lv blacksmith is always good, as most characters needs the items they can produce.
THIS. Its SO EASY to reach Platinum lvl AND get your Sims to 4/5 during their intial quest, if you focus instead on leveling your Sim, opposed to finishing the Quest. I try to do Quest actions ONLY when I see the trophy with the single x and a 5hr time limit. Then I usually try for two in a row to slow down its repop up. Otherwise, I focus on my SIM. Gathering, hunting, strategizing, or creating that good stuff for my fighters. For the blacksmith: LEVEL YOUR HAMMER ASAP. It just makes crafting easier.
Absolutely LOVE THESE EPISODES SO SO MUCH and unlike Courgetti's face expresses, I'm VERY happy to be here (though I wasn't blessed with the sexiness these characters have 😢😢😢 hahahha)
Fun Fact: The Watcher god entity is a reference to, well us the players. A bit of a jab really, since all we do is click an interaction and literally watched our creations(sims) doing their thing over and over again lol. Reminded me of that religion mod for TS3 on MTS.
First: Sorry for read, but TIPS! I started replaying this a few days ago. So... I start the Imperial Domination (Annex) Ambition bc I still have that side to unlock. I set myself up with a Monarch and a Physician. Next added a Blacksmith. A Peteran Priest. A Jacobian Priest (bc I had no idea Physician and Peteran are not needed for Annex quests)... and wouldnt ya know it? After annexing Effonmont and Yacothia (whatever theyre called) I realized I hadnt CREATED my Physician. After doing so my quest line up changed dramatically. SO. Whats NOT to love?!😂😂 PRO TIP: You can get most, if not all, Hero's to lvl 5 in their intial quest just about EVERY time (before you end with Platinum). And duos that can forever strategize is by far the quickest way for those to lvl as strategizing with others gives the most points in game. Also: Physicians/Wizards lvl uber fast by daily picking flowers. ALL the flowers, all the time. (Mines also for Wizards) PLUS it just adds ingredients for crafting, so win/win. Also: Its not that hard to pick a few wildflowers (for seeds), or catch a few fish, for a meal that'll buff your Sim. In my current play, All Sims Ive played are lvl 5+, and my Monarch is currently 10+6 As an afterthought: I loved the "Hard Workers" Ambition. Playing Annex, Im disappointed how heavy it is on the Monarch, with little love to the other Hero's. Most get a Quest with a side of Monarch. Also: I beat "Hard Workers" without annexing anyone, or doing a single pirate quest. 5 of my Hero's found Legendary traits. Heck, looking at the stats I platinumed 4 Ambitions in one. 😂😂😂 Edit: PRO TIP: Sell all wildflower stuff unless Physician (craft with it). Then sell once you get double stacks. It doesnt take long if you collect a lot of Hero lvl 10xp per every time. Or Drunkard. Keep Bloodmoss for better brew.

I'd never seen the medieval Grim Reaper either I love this!!!
You just need to make sure your sims are happy, and you'll have a higher success chance of things. Have them take a bath, look in a mirror, and use the chamber pot, and it should be enough to keep them in the green part of the bar and everything will go easier for you.
A good bathtub is absolutely necessary for this game, I think it’s a very cozy aspect lol

Chamber Pot
Wash hands

Eat
Gaze at object (for sims that get this buff)

The game isn't changing their names. It's their job title that is added in front of their personal name
