- We finally made it to Super Nintendo World in Hollywood. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you it is amazing. It is of course. So once we get over the spectacle of Universal's awesome new land, we'll get into REVIEWING it. The ride, Mario Kart Bowsers Challenge. The food, Toadstool Cafe. The side games. The Mario and Luigi meet and greet. The power up band. Everything. So to quote one of my heroes...here we go!

The Mario Kart ride is what Web Slingers wished it could be.
Honestly it has the teamwork of Smugglers Run, and better appeal than Rise of the Resistance and the entirety of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge as well
Yeah, universal is killing it with these new attractions on both coasts!

@@davidantunez4147 yeah, I agree it wouldâve been great, but it wouldnât be as suitable for certain younger audiences that are also interested in the Super Nintendo franchise. The ride vehicles would move too fast, and the height requirement would single out younger riders.

The greatest thing about this is that you don't see Hollywood anymore witch really kills the feels in my opinion. This looks so great and immersive thoughđ€©đ€©đ€©

The queue for the Mario Kart ride is amazing.
What a great and happening place!! When my son was 5œ (1986)he got a Nintendo with Mario for Christmas. He. Was. Obsessed. The music, the immersion into the land it's self and the coin "clang"!!! OMG it brings back so many happy memories!! Thanks David. You do such an awesome job.

I canât wait to visit this new land. My kids played Mario but I never did. Iâm not good at games but I love what youâre showing. Universal is rocking all the new stuff. This is amazing.

They did a great job. Itâs just a shame that they couldnât make this land 3 times larger. It kinda feels like this is a sampling of what could have been. Imagine if we could have an entire ice land instead of just a false âpeekâ on the skyline!
You can take stairs up to the ice section of the land where there are more interactive elements

The grand opening/full release of the game (so to speak) is gonna be HUGE! The menu at the cafe is the beta tester's menu. ;) This gives the parks the abiliuty to have the money needed to buy the parts and paint/textures and coding to make the land/game perfect!

Pretty impressive mascot costumes! Caught their eyes moving back and forth a few times. Kind of a shame Peach doesn't have an animated face. Mariokart looks pretty impressive as well. Universal's been doing some good work lately.

Yep. When Disney laid them off, they developed a time travel device, went back to 2016, got hired by universal and then helped design the land that opened in Japan in 2021.

David, next time try to go to the upstairs area, which you can access adjacent to the baby bowser attraction. That's where the AR binoculars are located, which are really cool.

@@FreshBakedDisney There's a separate staircase that leads up the AR binoculars area. There's also additional blocks up there where you can collect more points for your power up band.

For a family of 4, how would the bands work for kids and adults? Can you link your band and your kids band on your phone or is it one band per phone since my kids dont have phones?

You mentioned Nintendo Land is a game changer for Universal and will bring in new people. That's how Galaxies Edge was also billed. Would you say Galaxies Edge delivered on that?

I was there in February during their technical opening. And it was fun! Except for the level of sound they had. After a while the higher pitched Mario tune on repeat, and all the coin sounds gave me a headache and I had to leave.

That depends. I can ride both attractions in STAR WARS: Galaxyâs Edge but canât ride Bowsers Challenge because they have strict rider size requirements.

@@kimopuppy True, but STAR WARS: Galaxyâs Edge and Avengers Campus arenât video games, so naturally they wouldnât be as interactive.
@@WindowtotheMagic When Disney first announced Galazys Egdge they talked about how interactive it will be with robots running around and being able to earn credits for hunting down criminals. They even talked about earning credits on the Millennium Falcon for a successful run or putting a bounty on your head for wrecking the ship

I love how you always call the different sections a wrong name. I always laugh when I hear Super Nintendo Land or Super Mario Town or Harry Potter World or Simpsons Land.
Us, too! For us, a big part of the charm of fresh baked is how they get the names wrong, donât know how things work and are unfamiliar with where things are. It makes us smile watching him confused and discovering everything anew in every video! No other CZcamsr even comes close to being this entertaining!

@@1ROCKET- We also enjoy when David calls every single ride vehicle a boat. âHere comes our boat!â We really enjoy it. Itâs why everyone loves him so much. Heâs relatable to the average uninformed park guest. It makes perfect sense.
