Educate Empower & Equip
I love teaching people how to paint!
I created The Idaho Painter as an alternative to big box DIY video shows that have actors who only act like they can paint but really can barely act. My mission is to teach everyone across the globe how to paint from the non-experienced to the long time professional. No experience is necessary. My channel is for the home improvement person, DIY painter, handyman professional, home and garden enthusiast, and even the professional painter.
My new line of painters every day clothing is out now along with game changing painting tools. PAINT LIFE paint wear is a cool line of clothing designed by my sister Melanie and I. Our clothing line is every day painters wear that is a great gift or just cool clothing for yourself. Check it out in my Paint Life Store: paintlifesupply.com

Hey man, Great videos! Thx for sharing them. What sprayer would you use for sparying Alkyd Enamels with 57% solids? Thx
Hello ! Im doing a restoration project on an old Snap on tool box and wondering what paint would be good for it in regards to durability and rust prevention
Industrial enamel is strong, but has no business outdoors unless you are okay with very fast fading.
can you spray this paint?? i wonder how much did you charge for paint the guard post???
Amigo! Tengo una proshot hd de graco y tengo un problema.
No absorber la pintura en la bolsa sabes que puede ser?
Can you shoot this through a Fuji 5-stage HVLP? If so, do I thin it and with what?
Do you prime any rust or is that product self priming? You seem to use your brush more than the roller so is it extra sticky paint that rips hair out of your nap even if its an old one? I have rolled those metal guards several times over the years and its very hard to keep the substrate lint free even with an old roller.
We do prime rust. Thanks for the question or comment. All our questions are now answered on our Facebook group "Paint Life Members". Join that group and you will receive all the help you need. Hope to see you there.
Be careful when you work in parking lots, as lots of people don't pay attention when they drive, but rather drive by habit. They will crash thru, or get out and move cones aside, drive over freshly painted traffic lines, etc. Watch your back!!!
HI, WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO TAKE FOR ( THE GAS PIPES THAT IS THE BASEMENT WITH SOME RUST) PLUS THE KIND OF PAINT TO PAINT IT, THANKS
From Sherwin Williams! Lol yes. Professional.
How do you do the split color poles where the bumper poles are white and grey?
David Humphrey ...tape...?...
My painter told me to use this paint for my kitchen cabinets. It that a good idea?
Pro industrial is the line. What product?
People should always wear a mask and have good ventilation when they paint with enamel paint.
Yes
Greetings, does anybody know how this paint stand up to UV exposure? Im looking to paint a trailer and use this as a topcoat
Yes, it does
How would this work for a garage floor? thanks in advance
We epoxy garage floors
I know, I watched the 5 part series which was excellent btw. My garage floor had sealer on it. I stripped it twice, degreased it twice and etched it once. I still don't trust it to be perfect and am afraid of the epoxy peeling up. The young guy at Sherwin Williams suggested the enamel for the floor, it's what they use in their warehouse with forklifts running over it. What would be the drawback to using enamel instead of epoxy? ty and tia
Can this be used on a house?
Yes
Hey do you use hardener
Oil-based enamel take forever to dry without hardener that's why I was asking I didn't hear you mention that I mean they can take weeks and weeks to dry even in low humidity high heat environment with the addition of a harder they dry in about 8 hours every company makes hardener for their oil-based and animals they all do
Wow I've never seen or heard of a professional-grade oil-based enamel that dries in an hour I've been painting for 43 years
Understand those flyers saying WET PAINT are but no means FREE! This word should be outlawed in business practices .nothing is free nothing !! Walk into a print shop and ask them for Free wet paint signs and see what they tell you it’s slready added into that falling of high dollar s/w paint
Theyre absolutely free.....sherwinn will give you them.
This is a very weird thing to be upset about
clean it and Reuse ,keep it out of a land fill
WOW! someone messed up again.the post should be bright yellow.FAIL
Whoops
shouldn't the posts be yellow,CRASH!!!
OK I will change it
lol don’t need to sand… oil base enamel 100% needs to be sanded prior to re coatings. Havnt you seen oil coming off old doors in chunks because of poor prep. Ur rediculous
you gave no pointers about thinning the enamel , applying it & you told us several times ,, it's industrial enamel ,once was enough.
