1:00 - I did this in my kitchen (intentionally). I used a lighter blue-grey on the wall facing the window, and a shade darker blue-grey on the kitchen interior where I have my cabinets, countertops & appliances (all brushed chrome / dark grey / matte black). The corner where these colors meet, it's almost imperceptible thanks to a doorway. The appearance this gives is a naturally bright room overall, with a very comfortable and complementary winter color scheme without excessive contrast.

Great video Jeff! Two questions related to some of your talking points in the video:
1a. How do you feel about some of the other paint technologies like Pearl and Satin finishes (for trim/doors) from a durability standpoint? I know Semi-Gloss is the "tried and true" but sometimes find it to be still too glossy.
1b. Do you recommend sticking with Eggshell for Kitchens, Bath, and other high humidity/spill-prone locations or just ensure you get 100% Acrylic and choose your finish to taste? I know things like Benjamin Moore Aura Bathroom comes in just Matte and offers a great finish (we have it currently in our one bathroom).
    2. To get an even more razor finish on baseboards, casing, and other trim, do you recommend to ever pre-paint the entire pieces before air nailing them into place on the wall? And then just coming back with caulk and/or paint to hide all the nail holes? I would assume one would simply need to exercise just a little more caution and patience during install so as to not mar the painted pieces... Cheers!

I do this using a regular 3/8 nap roller that has most of the paint rolled out of it already. What happens is the roller wool flattens out and prevents paint from getting on the other wall for an outside corner. The trick is to know exactly how much paint you have in the roller and how hard you're pressing. Works every time for me.

Can you please do a video on double panel windows. Ones where the seal has failed and you got moisture inside. Not just replacing the glass for new DIY refurbishing.

My name is Ray, I live in Pa. I’m 64 years old and thought I learned the right way to do things. That being said… I have learned a lot from your videos. You can teach an “ old dog a new trick “.

My bathroom has gloss painted over gloss...the top coat peals off if you touch it with masking tape. Recommendations? I'd like to paint over what is there, but I have a feeling I'll just be creating myself issues in the future.
