It's so hard to leave the first few months are hell and spent begging and doing with out,but it was worth it to me!

I had a husband who used me as his Labor in construction, I'm a small person and it was very physically laboring, at first it was just help him a little here n there and I got paid just a lump sum with the promise that as he got more jobs I could help on he'd just pay me half the profit,we got married and within 6 months he kept all every penny of the pay and went n put things in his name which I seen no issue with at first. But when I had no access to the keys we had 2 cars and motorcycle, and got told no I didn't need to go to the store to wait until another time for what ever reason, he became very irrational and did things like slam brakes on stopping the car in middle of interstate, shooting off his gun I ran barefoot in cold weather he followed me no one stopped or offered me a ride I'm sure I looked crazy ,at this point I had lost 25lbs and he was behind my back telling people I had issues . I couldn't even watch what I wanted on utube ,he took offense to everything.i left one day with a handful of clothes walking from a small town in Tennessee towards home . Sooo Many people I reached out to just dismissed it as a couples argument , those who did help me after I left .... He stalked sent mesgs to followed me caused me to lose 3 jobs with in the first 3 months had several people in my friends and family telling him stuff, bc he'd act like he was heart broken and loved me do anything for me we have cars and money he takes good care of me I cheat or maybe have a drug problem he tells them he's worried about me doesn't care what i'v done he forgives me ,they fall for it ,he leaves several hundred dollars saying it's there's we make good money he likes to help family . .... U have no idea how hard it is , I was lucky I'm not on drugs I don't drink , and I wasn't afraid to have nothing and work hard to create a stable environment for myself. this doesn't even explain the half of the things that went on .from harrassing my mother ,8 flat tires on 3 different vehicles over 2 months , the going and talking to anyone who might have ever known me so I could go to no one from any point in the past and say hey this happened can u help me , he'd already been there and made his impression of meekness yet creeping them out they didn't want to be involved , several said he will probably kill u if u go back to him .that really scared me , my parents didn't want me staying there bc he may break in and kill us all ....it was a nightmare for them , there's no actual physical proof that he did anything but talk to people bc he was sad . . .I am still struggling this is my 8th month trying to get thru the emotional part ,to figure out how to trust again to know how helpless I was ,I'm lucky to have left n kept running and done with out ..... In February he was out I assume looking / stalking at 4 am he wrecked and passed away , I feel like I'm still looking over my shoulders , I went to what had been our home thinking I'd get some of my clothes coats and have the tools , I got to the house and his uncle had already loaded up and was leaving as I pulled up, nothing left but bills in his name I'm responsible for, all cash was stolen the entire safe was pulled outta the floor...but what's wierd is this was the next day after his death, bc I had left him a note when I left that I'm not going to be a part of forced labor a slave anymore , and I had responded to others asking about the issues that I was going to press charges and hire a lawyer n have him put in jail,I'm sure it got back to him , I can't help but wonder if he faked his death , part of his control was telling me he had done many harmful things and if it ever caught up to him he'd go hide in Florida swampland which he does have family there.and has ran from police with a girl for 3 years when he was in his early twenties . It's True I looked it up

The doctor who diagnosed her with dementia should lose their license. There is no way in hell that a competent doctor would actually think she fit the criteria. That diagnosis is either the product of someone who didn't graduate from medical school, or a doctor who had extra incentive. Either way, they should no longer be practicing.
Its not the doctor..its hollywood.....months on wendy williams also suddenly has "dementia" ...if these people had actually seen a sufferer of early onset dementia wld not throw this word around so easily..u end up like a bumbling idiot and defo wld hv been dead 13yrs down the line....its extremely aggressive

It makes me sick the way Jodi Montgomery tried to use "protecting Britney's privacy" as a way to silence her and remove evidence of their evil doing.
If Britney wants it out in the open it should be her right to put it out in the open. She's the only one who can make that choice.

The lawyer said that they have all these " highly qualified medical professionals " yet they said Britney suffers from Dementia?!?! That is the type of shit they are trying to keep out of the public domain, they clearly don't care about her privacy when they're sending her to appointments where paparazzi will be and ignore when Britney tells them she doesn't want to go there because she has no privacy. This shit is so crazy 🤦 😳 and I truly hope she gets what she deserves, to get released from this modern day slavery. Then that she'll be able to take some time off and come back to sue them all. Britney started to have mental problems and behave erratically as a result of drug use. There were accounts from a former housekeeper that the carpets in Britney and Kevin's home were all burnt from smoking drugs. Also, her problems were serious enough that the courts only gave her 30% of custody and deadbeat KFed was deemed a better parent...
Journalists who managed to get an interview with her were saying that, before she came in, a group of security agents searched every nook and cranny to ensure there were no drugs on the premises (she probably had a history of managing to get in contact with dealers).
What we now see on her instagram is not very reassuring, unfortunately.

Didn't it occur to you that all the judges, psychiatrists, social workers, lawyers and other experts involved in maintaining the conservatorship knew a little bit more about her mental issues than you or any other members of the public? She was threatening to kill herself with her children locked in the room ffs. And now she is feuding with her own teen-aged children, publicly. A grown-ass woman and mother. This doesn't exactly scream mentally fit. K Fed did a good job as a father. Those boys seem very adequate and grounded.

I think from hearing her talk, she is mildly delayed. Like, she does a Ron Burgundy and reads what she wrote without precorrecting it, she is asked by the judge to slow down and out of nervousness or whatever doesn't remember to, she repeats herself a lot, and admits about how much legal stuff she didn't know (and should have probably figured out). I think she is just normally delayed, and has high aptitude for specific things like dancing single, etc. I think her Dad has abused this to his advantage.
@@reina4969 she’s also detoxing from multiple behavioral medications that she didn’t need, but her father forced her to take to keep her compliant. Being on those types of medications for a decade or more is going to take months, if not years, to fully detox from and allow the synapse’s in her brain to heal and rewire themselves effectively. It’s very possible she won’t ever recover 100% because of it. And don’t forget, this is the first time in over a decade that she’s allowed to speak freely without previously memorized statements approved by her father, and because of that, public speaking is probably a bit stressful and difficult. And putting all of that aside, it is really anxiety inducing and intimidating to speak in court. Especially when you’re quite literally fighting for her life like she was. The weight of that must have been astronomical. The point is, we really should cut her a little slack at the moment…
She was pimped out to the world by her record label and management (family). This is terrible. Turns out an open court hearing is helping her voice be heard.
And while I'm relieved she had the opportunity, I wondered why the judge wasn't more shocked and angry on Britney's behalf. She admitted towards the end that she didn't want to put the phone down because she knew that as soon as she did, she'd be bullied again-- if I was the judge, I'd feel panic-stricken

@@payableondeath9091 It seems to affect men a lot more than women, to be fair. Family court generally sides with the mother, & there are some states that will give the mother full custody immediately. If the father wants to see his children, he has to take her to court.

The situation with the IUD was the part that immediately struck me as extremely disturbing. That is not far off from forced sterilization. Is it an exaggeration to call this eugenics? I've worked in the medical field 14 years...Britney is fully capable of making her own choices over her physical self as well as finances. ESPECIALLY now...especially after having it all taken away...I don't think she'd ever let it happen again and would make the right decisions moving forward. I think we, as fans and consumers need to consider how our consumption affects the artists we love. How many live performances have people paid to see without knowing that the artist was coerced by their predatory producers/managers to perform? As more artists come out about being forced to perform under threat of legal action, it really makes me question my own role in that as a consumer.

Not to mention that she's only 39, what I hear is an incredibly lucid and eloquent woman clearly advocating for her rights and freedoms - showing that the dementia diagnosis is absolute bull and the doctor who diagnosed her should have his license revoked. I have worked for people who have dementia and there is no way they would be able to express themselves as well as she did, but even so, there is no way anyone would be allowed to treat the residents at my workplace in a DAY the way Britney has been treated for 13 YEARS - their employment would be suspended immediately and there would be a serious investigation and likely a trial. I am so glad Britney finally gets to be heard and I am rooting for her all the way.
Absolutely! That doctor was probably paid off to diagnose her with dementia. I also work with elderly diagnosed with dementia as well as having 2 grandmothers who suffer. It is an insult to those who truly have dementia and their families\caretakers to claim that's what Britney has.

Also as for the safe harbor laws: there was that underage girl who killed her captor when she was being trafficked and somehow she got found guilty of murder. There’s something wrong with our justice system.

i was disappointed by the judge's response (after such clear accounting of mismanagement and abuse) she says to britney, thank you for sharing how you're "feeling" !? Wth. Britney made clear allegations and gave damning testimony! The judge knows that technically "the court" has been complicit in the imprisonment and so doesn't seem to want to go on record at that moment validating what Britney was saying.

Good for her! Its heartbreaking to listen to the call recording. Thanks to the 'Free Brittney' movement, the judge really didn't have a choice. This was VERY public and once the recording was released, as horrific as it sounds, there would have been protests in front of the judges' house. She would have never been given a moment of peace.

Bless her! She deserves to be able to be free and live her life the way she wants. Looking back on it, the narrative around Britney when she had her “meltdown” was so problematic but was engineered by her family. Britney deserves to be happy and to live her life free of her family!

I cannot put into words how angry and how heartbroken I am for her. I don't have the words. I just listened to all of this while working the night shift and there were thing Brittney said that stopped me dead in my tracks.

Thanks for making this video about Britney Spears. I grew up with Britney Spears, remember her on the Mickey Mouse Club, and have been a fan since she came out with music in 1998. She's had so much success, is extremely talented, she even said so herself in her court testimony. Damn good at what she does. She's worked pretty much nonstop since she was a preteen. It's just so sad, what has happened to her. 39yrs old, and not having the ability to do whatever the hell she wants. She's worth MILLIONS, and yet is only given a small allowance each month. Like seriously? She busted her ass for that money. If she wants to blow it all, let her!(I dont think she would just blow it all, she's very smart. but still, it's her money). In the beginning of all this shit..yes, I do believe she needed help. She was in a dark place. I actually thought it was good that her father was the conservator, that he would actually help and protect his daughter. But it's been 13yrs. And with what we know now, what we have all suspected for awhile now, her father and the rest of the conservatorship team, have just been using her as a cash cow, a show pony...forcing her to perform while she was very sick(that shows you right there, that this conservatorship was never about her well being, only about controlling her and her money), not letting her have anymore children, not letting her travel wherever she wants to, not letting her perform the way she wants to, and again..only giving her a small allowance. Like wtf?! Is she 13? I don't believe she needs to be under a conservatorship anymore. She may very well have some mental health issues..she even said that she's depressed. But there's plenty of people with mental health issues, who live successful, independent lives. And honestly, I really believe that once she is finally free, that she will be much better off, because she will be happier. #FreeBritney
I agree with everything you said, and also thought back in 2008 her family was actually helping her... I don't believe that anymore. I think she was going through a very rough time (divorce, custody battle, being stalked every minute of every hour by creepy paparazzi - all at age 24) and possibly had PPD... I think her family and manager (Lou Taylor) knew this, saw how the media was exploiting her out to be some horrible mother, and set her up so they could gain full access to her millions. Greed makes people do evil things. 😥
@@notthegoodgirl oh absolutely 💯. She's always been under a microscope, has had paparazzi following her every move, but the 2007-2008 period, was especially nuts. She would go into a gas station, and there would be 20-30+ paparazzi following her in there! And then surrounding her car. It was insane. And that whole umbrella incident...she was rightly pissed off. She wanted to see her kids, Kevin wouldn't let her, paparazzi was being super annoying to her, so she snapped. She's human! And why make her leave her house to go to a therapist's office? They know she's going to be followed by the media. They want to make her look as crazy as possible, to justify their control of her. Her voice was so shaky, nervous, she's kept this in for so long. She was afraid that she was going to be cut off. But you best believe, that she has ALOT more to say, more secrets, more tea to spill.

Even after her hospitalization in early 2008, they had her back out that same year, with a new album, tour on the way. This just makes me so sad. Hearing her voice on this, I just cry. @@franklinpasko9246 I cried, too. I was working on another project and stopped it midway to start this video after hearing the court audio because I was *so* livid; I couldn't focus on anything else. I can't believe this has been allowed to go on, and that the judge didn't do anything to protect her after hearing all she had to say. She is being held and used as a slave and the State of California is doing fuck all about it. 🤬
Thank you for calling it out for what it is: trafficking and it's happening to a lot of celebrities, not just Britney. Being a celebrity is not as glamorous a life as we often believe it is. It really does cost people their freedom and often their soul.

I'm about 10 minutes in and Britney said something about giving 8 gallons of blood a week? I'm a bit confused as to what that's a reference to, because that sounds physically impossible? I must be misunderstanding...
I believe she meant to say vials, not gallons. I read when starting Lithium, blood work needs to be done weekly at first. Obviously I'm not a medical professional, and Idk why *that* many vials would be needed... But I really hope the judge questioned her and her slave owners about that and much more. I hope Britney is able to stay safe and can petition to end the conservatorship!

I'm just feeling the need to point out that ALL those symptoms of dementia are also symptoms of sleep deprivation and being overworked, which we now know is very much the standard for celebrities, and was likely worse back in 2008 at the height of Britney's career. If she's getting only six or less hours of sleep in various places, like what she's said in interviews about sleeping in hotels, but also on planes, and other places. Having such an inhumane schedule would leave anyone tired, with difficulty doing things, uncoordinated, and every other symptom listed.
I just had an epiphany today; look at the caliber of pop icons in history equivalent to Britney - Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, Elvis - what do they all have in common??? The fact that she managed to not be taken out completely by one of these factions shows an almost supernatural capacity for survival.
Brittany is an intelligent, well capable and able woman who understands her life and the trauma she has suffered at the hands of her abusive family her father and relationship's with her management. She is brave and strong to face the courts.
