I genuinely believe that this is going to do FAR better than people think it is… it’s literally everything Eurovision loves,
I think this is going to pull a huge number of votes from quite a lot of Eurovision watchers everywhere!
An older lady, singing a risqué song, sexy male dancers, a great beat right from the off; this is going to do very well with the people who watch it for the first time on the night!

She give profesional energy, that is for sure. And the song is good and more importantly appeals to the large audiance of eurovision who usually don't understand more complex apreciative number like spain last year or la zarra last year for france. This will deffinitly be more succesful.

Honestly, I think this is a brilliant way for Spain to use the fact they're an automatic qualifier. Yes, they can absolutely go for the win, but why not have some fun while sending an important message that may end up getting a surprisingly higher placement than many expect. They don't need to care if people hate them or judge them for being too "risqué" for pearl-clutchers; they're already in the finals.

I really appreciat your honesty. Most reaction videos are pretty fake. And I really don't think Spaniards were voting for a ESC winner this year . There are three main types of spanish eurofans; the ones who want a song that has an international appeal. The ones who want to showcase Spanish culture and the last group is the 'girls who just want to have fun'. So we already sent an ESC friendly entry with international appeal in 2022, one for those who wanted an ethnic song to showcase local culture in 2023 and now it was time to please those who wanted just a fun song.

As a Spaniard, I am very happy that Nebulossa represents us at Eurovision 2024.
Nobody gave a single euro for them, with their low budget and the criticism they have received for their vocal quality and against all those walls, Nebulossa came out on top...
And because ? Because ? If there were singers with better vocal quality...
Yes there were... And my respects to all the participants at the Benidorm Fest; But for a song to be good, you don't have to have a great voice... How many world-renowned and well-known artists are there who don't have a great voice!?? Admitted by themselves.
And "ZORRA" is an anthem against the sexism of a percentage of men in society, who try to disqualify women by calling them bitches and also for that "sector" of women who also try to belittle your life by calling you a bitch. !! Simply out of pure envy.
And those people who criticize the song, and say that it is for gays; Please read the lyrics of the song and understand it!!
It has nothing to do with gays .
It is an anthem of women and only of them and I hope it helps us all to be more educated.
That's the ZORRA message and it's very big!!
But the song also has spark and is danceable, where it has been seen that the public sings with the artist and sings backing vocals, without being world-famous and highly consecrated!?
In Sweden that stadium will become the coliseum and its gladiors will be:
    NEBULOSSA!!!!

This is fun, but it is also a serious entry. It is not a joke entry or anything like that and the song is doing great streaming numbers in spain, so for once, we sent the most popular song in spain to esc.
Also, it wasn't alesya's idea, the whole of of spain is asking that they stage this with older ladies, as they do in the music video, because it is much more coherent with the message of the song.

I love this song ❤ the last time I saw an audience get this excited for the song was the Finland crowd for Karija singing cha cha cha. Though she may not have the strongest vocal, the lyrics make this song a masterpiece. In that sense I would compare this to Konstraka where the vocals are not strong but the lyrics make the song a contendor (and she got 5th place). I just love when songs like this rise to the top ❤ 🦊 🦊

The song 'ZORRA' by Nebulossa is an anthem of empowerment and personal vindication in the face of labels and social judgments. The lyrics address the theme of how society tends to judge and stigmatize women for their behavior, especially if they deviate from traditional norms of behavior. The repetition of the word 'slut' throughout the song functions as a re-appropriation of the term, which is commonly used derogatorily towards women who live their sexuality and freedom openly and unapologetically.
The artist expresses her refusal to change her nature to please others and celebrates her moment of self-acceptance and inner strength. The song reflects a process of personal reconstruction, where the protagonist empowers herself and becomes a 'postcard vixen', an image that defies expectations and criticism. The song's narrative suggests that, despite criticism, the woman has found her own path and is proud of who she is, regardless of the labels society imposes on her.
The message of 'ZORRA' is clear: it is a call for liberation from judgments and the affirmation of one's own identity. Nebulossa uses music as a platform to express the fight against machismo and the importance of self-esteem and self-respect. The song is an example of how art can be used to challenge social norms and promote cultural change towards greater equality and acceptance of diverse identities and lifestyles.

  • @judna1

Nebulossa is a Valencian duo, the singer is Mary Bas.
"Zorro" means male fox, but figuratively speaking means smart, while "zorra", female fox, is used as an insult and it means slut/bitch, so she is reclaiming that word, she is saying if I'm a "zorra" for going out alone, enjoying myself and staying up all night, then let it be. It's a feminist song.

I just realised that Norway probably never had a chance at winning back in 1986 when the song "Romeo" was performed by the solo artist Ketil Stokkan flanked by two drag performers. As a kid I was used to these drag artist on national tv as part of the famous group "The Great Garlic Girls" and it never crossed my mind that men in drag could cause other countries at the time to rate the performance negatively. But if it is still considered controversial, it probably was back in the 80s as well. Looking back now, I dont know if the song was a true contender, but it ended up 12th in the international finale, drag queens and all, so maybe? Had to look it up to check details and got to admit, its still a bop.

I love this entry, but I do think there's no way to predict its results. At the same time, I think it flows on the same wave as San Marino 2022 (and that gives me a bad feeling bc it didn't even qualify) but it's also completely different from that. I can see it finishing anywhere from bottom 5 to top 10.

Re: the suggestion of getting rid of the band members and replacing them with two women closer to the lead singers age seems unfair, especially on the fella with the keytar, as he's one half of Nebulossa.
Edit: not only a duo, a husband and wife duo!)

Also, it's currently my 12 points, but if you give me hexagonal electric drums, I'm absolutely signed up and there for it. And then they throw in a keytar.

Me desconcierta que la de la derecha repita con cara de hastío que la actuación de Nebulossa "solo es diversión", como si Eurovision fuera una convención sobre ganadería alpina o metalúrgica

THANKS for your video The song includes the request for WOMEN'S FREEDOM that was already made in Spain in the 80s, with songs for example by the singer ALASKA (when she said "who cares what I do, who cares what I say, I am like this and I will continue like this, I will never change" which everyone still knows because it is a GAY ANTHEM)
Well, this song says the same thing but claiming that AGE DOES NOT MATTER.
After CHANEL we don't expect to win. Nebulossa has a sweet and elegant voice, it doesn't matter that she doesn't win ❤

I noticed in the official video that the screens at the back occasionally showed bright red lips and teeth, just like the start of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Nebulossa is the band name for all 3 of them not just her so would be a bit dirty to drop the two instrumentalists for the staging 😅

What I get with the song, and with the fact that she's representing Spain...it's that we are not fighting for the win, we do it more for the message we want to send to the world, in some way. Like...We are girls and gays and we're ruling the world now... idk, may be I'm tripping out hahaha

Also Benidorm Fest 2024 is the best National Final of the year, once again for the third year in a row.

Take away the 2 in the back??!! They ARE part of Nebulossa!! Nebulossa is a group, not a singer. Also, it's not just a bit of fun, the theme is really serious but they just packeged it in a positive sounding song (like ABBA were masters in doing). It's a fabulous song!! And it will get a couple of votes from me!
