This suit looks really sick! I'm a guy that adores the Ultimate suit, it's one of my favorite depictions of the classic suit of all time, and though this doesn't really resemble it. it is still a great classic suit.
But was it worth 500 dollars? Not at all.
It was probably based more on the post ultimatum iteration

RPC studio is so cool and definitely a go-to for quality spidey suits
I love your videos man, and honestly I really like the fact that you don’t fully structure your videos. They give off a very real and natural feeling, very genuine.
I have at least five of the RPC paint suits and I’m here to tell you now they look better in person than they do in pictures. I got the PS4 Advance suit,Raimi suit, TASM 2 suit, plus their some of their regular spandex suits. The colors are slightly darker than they show in pictures 100% worth the money 💰
It's a sweet suit to be sure. I still don't know why RPC is better than Herostime or Printcostume. Is there something about the RPC Studio suits that warrants them costing $300 plus more than the other two companies?
Honestly I have tried suits from all 3 and unless it's a full 3d webb lined and logo suit it ain't worth the money on the RPC ones.
I’ve gotten one suit from herostime. I love it. It only busted a seem once and it was easy to fix. If you don’t want to make your own spidey suit definitely go there. I’ve heard great things about printcotumes but I haven’t purchased anything from there.
I got a have a few suits from Herostime with a slew of additional features (detachable mask, gloves, and feet) and each of them only cost about 150.00 a pop. Totally worth it and they've held up since 2017.
Part of RPCstudios claim is that they have dyed spandex that they make for the suits as opposed to being printed on. Not sure if that makes a huge difference though

That was a risk gluing these lenses on the mask.
But they look SPECTACULAR.

RPC suits honestly don’t even look that good for the price. I’ve seen ones that are upwards of 900 dollars yet my costume off of ali express that I puff painted looks just as good if not better for less than a tenth of the price. And if I add in the face shell and soles it’s still only a fifth of that price. Still excited to see your review later on today!

Also gluing those lenses on was definitely a gamble but it worked out as those lenses look amazing on that suit!
If you wanted to I think it would be really cool if you did reviews of other online suit making companies and judged their quality, your opinion is mostly based after all
I've like never had a good experience ordering from them. I think their standard suits definitely survive longer than like a printcostume suit, but the overall quality doesn't justify the cost in my opinion and I've heard nothing but bad things about their paint suits from fellow Spideys, one guy I work with said he ordered the Homecoming suit and it "fell apart" like almost immediately after getting it. I suppose if you're only like rarely going to wear the suit then sure maybe risk one of their paint suits, but if you're someone who cosplays Spidey a lot I'd say they're a huge waste of money. I don't know I did a whole like 20min video about why you shouldn't buy from them. I'm not a fan, and I won't dive into a whole discussion in your comment thread, but yeah, glad it worked out for you though man!
I love those lenses, that's how I always draw them. I love Mark Bagley's art style and always copy his design for the Spidey suit

You can easily make that suit using the wine red spandex blend at Hobby Lobby.
In my opinion it could have had a metallic lense look

I still prefer the printed non raised webbing and not having any honeycomb shapes around. It just feels more clean and I prefer the simplicity.

First video of yours I stumble upon but very funny and informative. I just bought my very first suit and after some market research ended up on printcostume, considered RPC but the choice of suits and prices kind of turned me away. Glad too see I seem to have been right if the paint actually chips off on top...
Only question I had would be regarding washing the suit. Didn't adding your own custom superglued lenses on it make it un-washable? Or do you just wash these by hand and avoid cleaning the head?
