This woman is precious.
I feel that it really adds to the sweet innocent magic that is her, this song, this performance. This is my favorite, because of that, because it was the first time I saw her, because of it all. It always makes my stomach tighten and eyes cry.
She's so sweet, cute, humble and talented
It wouldn't be a Regina concert without at least one false start.
This has probably the finest opening line in music history.
It is a great line....but A few Joni lines beat it out in my opinion.

+Christ J It is an honor to be mentioned in any discussion with Joni. My favorite Regina opening line has to be 'Your stitches are all out, but your scars are healing wrong' from 'One More Time with Feeling'... and of course her delivery makes it even better..
Roberto a if we're talking _favourite_ then mine is probably "She was lying on the floor and counting stretchmarks", from a song that's never been released over here called Braille. Samson's is better, though - I just like Braille's more.

I like this guy in my workplace and he sings well. When we pass by each other, he sings a love song... He does this every single day. Perhaps the feeling is mutual but aside from his singing, he doesn't give any other motive. So one day, I sang this song implicitly to him when we bumped into each other-- "You are my sweetest downfall, I loved you first..." :) *Just sharing, folks.

Ive loved regina for so many years. I never knew this song so Biblically related to her own realationship story. Its kind of wild. Also pure genius.
I remember hearing an interview where she said she didn't have a lot of experience with death until later in her life. I think it's just a goth girl thing, not to demean the song. We all got it comin', kid.
