It's really nice to see so many people expressing their love for this song considering we were all listening to the same bad quality audio track with clanging dishes and audience chattering. So many of Regina's songs came to me that way. In high school 15 years ago my ipod was full of those tracks. I can't say that about many other artists.

I didn’t even want to listen to this version.. I feel like the old crappy records will always hold a special place in my heart. Especially when it comes to loveology. It’s my favourite song of hers. The way her voice cracks at the end always moves me to tears

I love her. I named my daughter Regina after her. She saved me (both Reginas, Spektor and my daughter). Thank you! I wish i could hug her and all her fans and say to you all "you're great and perfect exactly the way you are".

I got to meet her after a concert at the Chicago Theatre years ago. I told her this was my favorite song and she told me that is so sad... I don't remember how to play it anymore. I can't describe how this just made me feel. Wow.

I remember tweeting her the original, she said she would record it one day, and i think she got a comment in a q&a about it, so i think she herd her fans wanted it and delivered.
I think she said "thats is so sad" because the song is musically beautiful, but the message and context is 'you have hurt your loved one and you are most likely going to lose them'
