Loved this, people don't realize there was so much more to Freddie than just a rock star, his talents were far beyond this. Just think if he was still alive today, who knows how much more he could have achieved and brought to us. We are so lucky to have what he left us, his music will never die
As fantastic as this is, this is the reworked version with the Live Orchestra playing the music produced a few years ago on the reworked Barcelona album, I think it detracts from Freddie's original version and much I prefer the 1987 release. Montserrat Caballe released her own version of this and sang it Live in front of an audience as a surprise to Freddie as he was sitting there. Their love for each other as fleeting as it was, was true and magical.
Thank you, Karen! If you didn’t know, this was Fred, and you heard it on the radio. You would never guess it was Freddie Mercury. I believe he sent this to Montserrat so she would understand his love of opera and ability to sing it. It’s very beautiful and hauntingand wonderful to hear
You have got to check out Queen "Now I'm Here" Live at Hammersmith 1979 to see the band and Freddie operating at full capacity. One of their best performances! Thanks
Thank you Karen Freddie will never be forgotten a beautiful talented handsome man taken from us far too soon god bless him and thank you for all your amazing reactions to Queen x x
Thanks Karen for your donation & kindness!! It’s always a good day when we can hear the gorgeous vocals of Freddie!! Excellent choice!! Anyway Lil Mann, may I recommend IMPROMPTU from Wembley 1986 and Rock n Rio Blues 1985.
😮Karen , thank you so much for your donation and requesting this . I was going to suggest that Lil Mann play it . I can’t wait to see his reaction , so thanks again. ❣️
before starting his second solo album he wanted to do a cover of Great Pretender but forgot he needed to do a B side! Mike explained in an interview he told him to play something classical and he would improvise which is this later that year Montserrat asked to meet him, Freddie thought it would be a good ice braker that she thought it would be funny him pretending to be a soprano on the day Freddie was nervous and blurted out we have something for you which she took as it was a gift to her she said she liked it and instructed Mike to write out all the music and she would perform it in 3 weeks at covent Garden and he would play piano! unknown to Freddie she had written lyrics to it and mentioned him when they decided to do an album together they worked on it and it became ensuno
Still loving your reactions. It truly warms the ❤️ of any Queen fan to see more and more people/younger generations come to appreciate not only Freddie & The Boys’ immense talent, but also the sheer volume of their music. Any song you pick will WOW you. My suggestions would be: Let Me In Your Heart Again (Official Video), Bohemian Rhapsody (LIVE In Budapest 1986), and Another One Bites the Dust (LIVE At Wembley 1986). I know youve heard BoRhap & AOBTD before, but, truly, each performance is a completely different experience, and you come away appreciating them for different reasons than the last time you heard/saw it. Theyre ALL well worth the time to watch! Keep up the great reactions! Cant wait to see whats next!
Great request Karen! Simply beautiful. & Montsy’s version was impressive too lol Eta. Never heard it this way? Usually there is just the piano line accompanying Freddie.
The only thing I don’t like about this video is that a surprising number of people who see it, mistakenly think that it is Montserrat singing instead of Freddie, since she’s also in the footage.🙄
Thanks, Mann.. haven't seen this particular video.. but it is beautiful.. as is Freddie's vocal.. this is what he composed to show "Montsy" what her part would be if they sang together.. this eventually became their song "Ensueno" .. where she did sing the high parts, and his were remarkable as different from his usual ... he sang baritone/tenor on the eventual song.. .hope you get around to it.. appreciate your listen...
This is our Freddie … making something for Montsy to listen to. 👏🌷😊 TY for your wonderful reactions 👏
Thank you too!

@@The1queencollector also thinks that original is better
This is all Freddie. He would compose and then make a recording for Montsee so she could begin to know the tume. He is amazing!
